  • Hello this is Larisa.
It’s been 2 years since I moved to England and one of the hardest thing I had to go through was homesickness.
    イギリスに引っ越して2年経ちましたが、その中でも一番辛い経験がホームシックでした。
So I thought it would be interesting for me to share how it was like living in a foreign country and what kind of method I used to deal with homesickness!
    なので今回は海外生活をしてる上で、個人的にどんなメソッドを使ってホームシックに耐えたのかを動画内でお話ししてます。
I would love to know your experiences too! If you have any tips or method you would recommend, please let me know in the comments:)
    是非皆さん個人の経験談なども聞きたいので、もしシェアしたい方はコメント欄に書き込んで下さい!コメント読むの楽しみにしてます:)
    Thank you for watching!

I love the way you do not sugar coating things and telling that negative emotions (like, sadness, guilt, doubts and anxiety) which one might encounter are absolutely normal! That the process is unique for everyone, it might take a different amount of time to get use to it and we should appreciate the experience in order to learn.
I do not think I would ever be able to leave my country (due to economic reasons), but this video was helpful anyway! Thank you ❤

Community is such an important factor! For me when I lived in China, it was the quiet moments when I was alone when the homesickness and loneliness crept in. When I was with my friends, I felt great - there was a sense of understanding and trust that helped me feel like everything was ok.

Omg I was exactly the same! Sitting alone in the room was scary because that’s when my thoughts will go wild and crazyyyy haha Thank you for sharing your experience🥰 I hope you had a great time in China! :)

It's so comforting to hear that other people feel the same things I do when dealing with homesickness! I've lived in England for 2 yeats, and it still crops up on my every once in a while. I also journal in my native language instead of English, it's a weirdly calming thing ☺️

This is so special💖 It really reminds me of how I felt moving away to college from my home and all my family/friends. This is really good advice! For anyone feeling homesick in the comments: Homesickness doesn’t last forever, it gets better I promise❤️
