Nick Absolute Best Serato Setup Tutorial Ever!, You answered every question I ever had on how to set up Serato. The Only Thing I didn't hear you mention Is your can change the distance between the Waves form with the + or - Keys on the Keyboard. Where I DJ at the other DJ likes it really tight and I like a lot of distance so I can see the beats more clearly. Thanks again, DJ Drew
@@MrCashSaver thanks drew! Iâm so upset I forgot to mention that feature đ

Yo Nick, good looking out with this video. I'm a new serato user come from the old school (12s). Got into the digital world with the first CDJ 1000, then move to xdj rx2 and now move to the Rane one (LOVE IT GOOD JOB RANE ) Being a reckorded user for about 4 years and now I'm making the switch, after searching through CZcams for how to set up setting and watching a few I have to say your shit was on point, simple strate forward and well illustrated thanks again and you now have a new subscriber.TampaRey out....
Awesome tips Nick!! Much needed, thank you
Happy to help!
Thank you for this.just getting started and nice to have things better explained.looking forward to watching other videos
Glad it was helpful!
Love the fact you donât use sync.
Nothing like moving the pitch controller your self and actually listening to both beats.
Salute.
I'm with you on everything except the sync thing. Just put it on simple sync. Im a purest myself I started mixing with a dual tape deck we called it pause mixing and then my first turntables didn't have pitch control. So, I had to turn one and slow the other one down by hand to keep them in sync. I use the sync now mostly when I'm doing an acapella mix and want to drop another beat or acapella quickly. Its like going from chopping down a tree with an ax to a chainsaw. You still have to know what youre doing. Like beat counting.
They should use that sync button to call the bartender over!
Subscribed to your channel just now. BRRROOOOSSKIIIII I LOVE THESE SUPER HELPFUL VIDEO!!! THE BEST SERATO SETTINGS TUTORIAL THERE IS ON CZcams!! You the man in keeping your audience locked. RESPECT!!

Great work Nick!!!!
I have that problem alot were you type to look for a song and the playing deck would start playing backwards...
You have helped me and everyone else.... with great videos
Can thank you enough Bro....
So glad it helped! Remember "question" and "answer" whenever your deck goes into reverse. The "q" and "a" keys will fix it!

Oh and I hate sync. I don't even know why they even have it on controllers.
I hate when I accidentally tap it too.
You know one of those drunk night partying to myself lol
Excellent stuff Nick Thanks.

You made my day đ

This is so helpful!
đđŒđđŒđđŒ
My settings are straight but this the content I like to see lol so you got my support đ
appreciate you!
Yeah buddy!!
You had me at "bloop"
Eres un chingon un mi Ădolo.
top thanks
Great video Nick I need to double check on the load protect feature. I cant tell how many mixes and dancefloor I killed lol. As far as sync button [guilty] Using sz2, sx2 controllers over the last decade or so, it is convenient and it sync my effects also. Let's be clear "Sync does not always work" you still have to listen to the track. Anyone like myself or you who ever used vinyl will have no problem hearing the offset. Much needed video brother.
Thank you bro and yes I've been there haha and you're right about sync! Just leave that shit off!
Just found your channel and I love your energy; humorous, yet passionate.
All of that combined with great DJ info. That's OK in my book...
AND THAT'S WHY I SUBBED TO YOU !!!
Question:
I'm curious...Why do you state that iTunes is on its way out. Do you feel this way because of all the streaming that is going on now and/or another reason.
Pls answer soon...
PEACE !!!
Thanx
Goat
Thanks Nick. Great info for the newbs. BTW, Don't screw up the two steps!
Haha never mess up the two steps!!
Actually you can still set hot cues with enable hot cues unticked. But only on your computer not using your controler. I swiched it off because I kept setting hot cues in places I did'nt want. So now wnen I load new tunes into serato I set the cue points before the gig. Hope I described this well enough. BTW Nick really enjoy your channel.
