Robert has two schnauzer dogs he loves.
As a dog owner you train your dog to be comfortable with you touching them and inspecting their body regularly when caring for them. Many dog owners get the impulse to grab our dog's foot and smell it.
Dogs have flora that naturally occurs on their feet that give off this popcorn/frito lay corn chips smell.

The naming and the choices are so amazing, I love the ditto for the transforming lip balm, pikachu for the RED blush! and the meme names on the pallet?? AMAZING, they really took advantage of the theme.

Pokémon Creators would never let a collaboration flop. Im so impressed with the attention to detail, I still play pokemon actively & all I can say is good job ColourPop! Solarbeam is to die for! ❤❤❤
We are a pokemon family as well (I blame my son-in-law personally, he's been a fan since the 90s), although I only do the Pokemon hour on Tuesdays game wise my room is slowly being taken over by Pokemon plushies. Must get this make-up for my daughter.

It's not wrong!! "Pox" comes from the plural of "pocke". Originally a "pocke" was a blister or pustule, the most obvious characteristic of a pox. (Now we use "pock" to identify much more benign skin marks, as in "pock marks".)

I love the Pokémon collection! They definitely nailed this one. To be fair, there are endless color options with Pokémon and cute characters to pull them from. Hard to not nail this one.
They've failed with a lot of collections where it seems like it would be hard to fail 😆 Like Robert's favorite, Sailor Moon... 😅 They just need to pick more suitable themes and use some freaking imagination, they steer towards too many safe nudes in these collections but if you are buying themed makeup you don't need more nude shadows 😭

this is the only colourpop collection I bought. I am a huge sucker for Pokemon so I was likely going to buy it anyways but the fact that the collection is so so good is such a deep sigh of relief.

I'm also not much of a Pokemon fan, but this collection looks like what a Pokemon collection should look like. And I'm happy for the fans that they get good colors.
I work at Ulta so I got the whole collection with my employee discount and I’m in love with it! I love Pokémon so when I heard they were doing this I was slightly scared they wouldn’t have bright colors like past collabs but finally a great collab!!❤

I wanna cry because they could’ve use such a similar color palette with the Sailor Moon palette both of them like you see color pop you can do it😭😭😭😭😭. Thank you for doing this review as I watch more more of your videos, I’m seeing how many similarities of your skin concerns is very similar to mine and I’ve noticed a lot of your suggestions. Really help me navigate useing products for my oily combination skin .

The purple blush def has my attention. I love wine coloured/purple blushes! And the color-changing ph balms are definitely nice to look at because of the glitter. i have one from essence, does the same thing as colourpop's but it's clear, looks to have a lot more glitter in it and it was more affordable.

Good afternoon Robert. My kids loved Pokemon and so did I. When the cards came out, i taught them how to play and they joined the league at Toys R Us. I continued to teach the game and made absolutely sure to let each child win to get points. Loads of fun and enjoyed the pure joy on their faces after winning. Might buy a couplemof items. I will say I was a little disappointed that they didn't do an eyeliner or shadowstick that was black and looked like a permanent marker/microphone since they included Jigglypuff in the collection!

the lip mask smells exactly like the cupcake dolls from the 90s. It was a huge nostalgia trip! If you were a little girl in the late 80s or early 90s you will know what I'm talking about. They were little cupcakes that flipped inside out and turned into dolls and smelled like sweets.

The only thing in this collection I would like to try are the three blushes. It's a beautiful collection overall but most of the products I have no desire or need for.

i bit the bullet and bought the whole collection and its soooo gorgeous! i thought the lip mask smelled good? weird. anyway the important thing to me, that isnt visible in photos, is that Blasting Off shimmers with periwinkle and magenta! its literally team rocket shimmer!!

Robert I had a good laugh at you describing the taste as dog feet, like Doritos. In our family we say our cats have Niknak (also a cheese flavoured chain) feet 🥰. I guess we are all guilty of kissing our little ones on the paws

My pallette and a super shock shipped yesterday! I'm so excited. I was sooooooo sad that the Ditto lip balm/stick was sold out by the time I got online. I really wish I lived in the US so I could go to Ulta. Damn Canada LOL
This video has unfortunately reinforced to me how little I understand how colors work together. The first look, with the pink lipstick, looked really nice. But, when you changed the lipstick out for the bluish lip gloss, it suddenly looked 100 times better, and I have no idea why. 😂🤷🏻♀️

That light green shimmer reminds me of the Natasha Denona shade in her Tropic pallet that's in the bottom right corner. I adore that shade. I may have to get the pallet just for that shade.

I can’t wait to get mine! I got the palette, Clefable blush, and the pH lip balms and I’m so stoked. I know colourpop has been pretty meh lately so this was such a cool drop. Their sailor moon palette is one of my favorites
They included the "Jelly Donut" shadow, hah!
Will be buying when the complete collection is back in stock, my daughter will love it (the bits that I actually give to her that is, some of those colours are too good to pass over)
I was lucky enough to snag the collection and tried it out yesterday, and oddly enough went for a very similar look to Robert (the greens and the pop of pink, but I used the super shock which is really cool the bulbasaur one reflects pink), but I tried the pink blush.
As far as I can tell the lip balms are all the same so I don’t see what the purpose of having three is, other than more money. I’ll probably end up using them up as around the house lip balms, and I know I’ll be using everything else. There’s also potential for more Pokémon collabs, they could do other gens since this was all gen 1, or they could do 9 pans or quads for each type. They’ve revisited other IPs in the past (Disney Princesses, Star Wars, Hocus Pocus) so I’m really hoping we’ll see more!

I know I said this before but my 6 year old wants this collab so bad. She’s a huge Pokemon fan and apparently thinks shes now big enough for makeup now. Her father disagrees. Seeing your video pop up reminded her that she wants it.
I have three of the cream blushes from their permanent line and I love them. They're exactly like you described them, very creamy when applied, but not sticky or oily after they set. And they still do have a slight sheen to them even after setting, plus they apply well over a lightly powedered base. Great for people with oily skin. I think I might have to get some more (eyeing both the purple and the red 🤔🤭).

Glad you reviewed this! I’m getting it brigade the packaging is amazing. I am really disappointed that the ph balms and lip glosses are so similar. But the colors of everything else is great. I’m also most looking forward to the purple blush!

I got the lip mask on a whim when I saw the display in a store, and I thought it tasted quite fruity. It reminded me of lip smackers from when I was a kid so it just hit all the nostalgia vibes for me. Good to know some of the other products are good too.
