Repeating Tides // A Look At Rhythm with Tides, Beads & Clouds

- This is a nice and simple patch with some (I think!) musical results, in the past I’ve been using Tides 4 voices usually in conjunction with one another, or smearing between them, this time I thought about pinging them with Envelopes from the @xaocdevices13 ZADAR in rhythmic patterns. I think this has greater a nice ambient patch, with some fun little rhythmic elements! Anyway sit back and enjoy and let me know what you think! MM.

This is amazing, makes me feel like I am not using Tides enough. I'm curious if you don't mind sharing, what is Lubadh doing in this piece?
Sure! It is in the signal chain in the video but only for the fabulous tape emulation that’s present in the V2.0 update, I love how it sounds and the character it adds and I always find myself patching through it if I can, firstly for the tape emulation, but also in case I hear a nice generative section or something and I want to record on the fly and add the tape loops in, or even save the loops for another patch, it good to patch through I find because it can add a lot, and often it’s the focus of a patch, the manipulation of recorded loops on the Lubadh, hope that helps!
@@megamodularis Ahh I see, for effects. I need to get to know the Lubadh more, I didn't realize that you can still run through it and use the tape emulation without recording first. Thank you for that, I just ordered the expander.
@@paleflowerstudio Yes you can, it can be subtle depending on the input signal, but you can dial up the strength in the settings, excellent it is a nifty little thing, and you get all the samples they made for the V2 too, happy patching!
