Cistus is basically labdanum, one of my favourite notes, that happens to smell like cola! I can’t wait to try it

I got a tester of this in 75 ml. I'll let it mature before using. SOP.
Please do another review a month later. Maceration has such a massive impact and i think its only fair to see how the performance improves in the next month or so
I loooove it. It is Profondo without mineral notes and more green opening. Deeper ritcher more evening Profondo. I didnt like Profondo EDP because of those mineral notes. Parfum doesnt have it and it makes it so much better. Btw, the new EDT original 2024 with a gradient bottle is FIREEE! Its what ADG was in 1996. Stronger too than what ADG was for the last 20 years. It is so much closer to the initial 90s verion. Its like they gave a new coat of paint to the kibg
How would you say the new EDT compares to the most recent pre-2024 version of AdG? (specifically the ones that don't have the "Pour Homme" on the box or bottle). I have become used to this one and I don't quite remember what the "Pour Homme" versions smelled like. People say that the ones without Pour Homme don't have as much citrus in the opening and the floral notes are more pronounced and the performance is slightly better.
@@NYRangers928 It is yes. Less citus, less sweet. More aquatic and floral green. It is what it was a long time ago. I hated newer verison, smell wise and it lasted poorly. The new 2024 has a better performance. Not beastly but good.

Judging by the notes, I doubt it. It's a very similar bottle, but I don't think it's the same fragrance. Plus, Lights wasn't a parfum.

very good my son, i recently got ADG parfum after i finished my 180ml bottles of profumo and essenza, i still need to try the profondo and absolu flankers so looking forward to it.
Did you get latest version of AdG Parfum 2024 (with magnetic cup and Armani text on the bottom of the bottle) and is it now very close to Profumo, almost same?
How do you find ADG Parfum? I get no projection from it whatsoever 😫
@edin999 I have the 2024 version of Parfum and it still falls short of Profumo (I have a bottle still so could compare). It's just missing something, and doesn't have the projection or longevity of Profumo either. I bought it on the basis that the 2024 version is just like Profumo but IMO it is not.
On a more positive note, apparently the 2024 version of ADG EDT (OG) has better performance now, can't wait to try it.
Mine seems ok longevity & projection, i was expecting better tbh, not as potent as the original promfumo though
Tried the Parfum version. The Edp is definitely better and would say stronger lasted for hours even after washing my hands multiple times. Wasn't a fan of the parfum version
I probably don't get at all...why would they replace something which performs absolutely great with something that under performs?...even profondo performs way much better than this aqua di gio Parfum!

I tested it yesterday. To be honest. This is the weakest perfume I have ever tested. I am a huge fan of Acqua di Gio. But I won't buy any more. It smells so weak. it smells 30 minutes very weak. After that its over.
Ok.Maybe its your skin chemistry . Apart from this topic - in your opinion, is the current ADG EDP or ADG Parfum better? A refurbished version came out so maybe you know.
the matt finish is parfondo EDP 2020, the clear one is Parfondo Parfum 2024. there's also a parfondo EDP 2024
Profondo lights is an EDP. I got a bottle of it
And IMO the 2024 rebottled EDP smells different to the original EDP, and better! Tested it in Boots the other day.
@@tommorris8111 is the mineral part gone? Is the old stuff no longer in production? I may pick up some old profondo for a keepsake if so
@user-iz3gv7th6z I don't think so, I'd just say it's slightly different, a little greener to me. I hope the performance is better though as OG Profondo didn't perform on me at all. OG Profondo is still available on Armani Beauty and various places still I think.
Edit: Sorry, you said in production. I doubt it is to be honest but not 100% sure.

lol hello me old mate. I haven’t worn it enough yet mate to make that decision. I do like it a lot tho. But the proformance at the min ain’t the best. I really don’t know what’s going on with all these new releases they seem to be having longevity issues. But I will get to this in my update review. I hope all is well pal 😎👊🏻
