i don't think this song really suits you... Serj's voice is unique in itself, but this feels weak and not as powerful as it needs to be... needs to be kinda growly or rough, and not so high pitched, the chorus is good, but the rest is kinda meh, looking forward to your next one :)
Serj's voice isn't powerful, except in some of his screams. His voice is very nasally though, which makes it pretty annoying. It's unique, but as I've mentioned in other debates across the internet, "unique" does not automatically mean "good". :P

Guys... he's doing a power metal version, which means it's meant to be different to the ballad/thrash metal that the original goes between. He's not trying to copy Serj
jacobjedi2 Serj has an amazing voice! One of my favourite and don't dare say it isn't powerful cause it gives me goose bumps when he sings those long loud and high notes as well as when he screams
It's powerful for you, but from a technical point of view, not really. I'm not pro vocalist, but I can sing a lot of his stuff (and sound a lot like him) no problem.. I don't mean to sound arrogant, but the thing is this- *you* like his voice, but that doesn't make him *good*. I could tell you that I like Justin Bieber's voice (I definitely don't), but that wouldn't make him a good vocalist. It comes down to this: you can have an opinion, but that doesn't mean he can't be completely overrated.

Isn't System of a Down already metal? Either way great cover! :3 This comes across as quite a hard song to cover when you aren't a native English speaker, due to the rapid consonants in the quick parts, that not all languages use the sound of.
