Thank you Christy for sharing her experience with us! We hope this video will help MANY prospective students in the NY metro area because Christy REALLY did her research! :)
Yessss!! Christy is an awesome guest and so helpful to learn from!! I love that she was able to join us and is your study buddy! Can’t wait to see you both graduate 😍😍😍
I have to agree with everyone that you ladies did a great video. It was very informative and interesting. I would never have thought about reaching out to former students from my prospective university. It might be a little hard for me to find any since the program only has 7 students per year.
Thanks again ladies for taking time out of your busy schedules to do this for the community. Hope it keeps growing.❤
Awww thank you so much Crystal!! Yeah it definitely can be challenging but I’m sure you can find them somewhere on social media!! Thank you for supporting us and listening, it means the world and makes it all worth it! 🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍
Such an informative video. SonoStudent life sure seems like lots of work!
Thank you so much!! It definitely is but it’s fun!
the amount if information, encouragement and motivation that this video gave me is extremely appreciated. even though yall dont know me, i feel like i found my community and dont feel alone in this process anymore. I cant wait to start my program . love the podcast
So glad you don't feel alone! We're in this together!
Wow I was going to apply to down state thanks Cristy for the research
good luck, friend! thanks for watching my videos!
Interesting to hear how things work in different places. I’m a first year DMS student in Canada and loving it!
ah I'd love to hear how it is in Canada! would love to have you on the podcast or channel! :)
From which collage?
omg thank u for this video, considering going back to school & was curious about Cahe
Thanks for watching! Many people have attended there and have been successful!
I related so much to this video . I never been a straight A student or a big fan of school . I’m considering this program
Good luck hun!!!! You got this. 🫶🏽
My seniors are amazing 🤩 and inspirational.
awww, you're so sweet! they really are amazing!
This is great info. Thanks for making this video. I'm curious about how you go about choosing vascular vs. echo vs. abdominal vs. obgyn.
this would be a GREAT topic! thank you for the suggestion! we can definitely do an episode on that!
Great video
Thanks so much for watching love!
Interesting. Two different locations for one quarter? I hope there was some adjustments on the professors part because that's a lot.
yeah, definitely interesting! everywhere does things so different!
Hi guys! I loved the video thank you for the info! I’m currently going to school for health science and I’m taking the courses such as psychology, anatomy and physiology math and English. And I’m thinking in going to your school for obgyn. I looked up and the school is accredited and it gives an associate degree if I’m correct. Any advice?? Thank you!
Thanks for watching Abigail!!!! That's awesome!!! Great choices for classes. I would contact @dmsdiaries on instagram and she can give you more insight into their program!!! :)
Can you do a video on the application and interview process ?
yes this is a good one I got you!
😃😃😃😃
Hi girls! This question is mostly targeted towards the CAHE girls! Did you guys get called back for a second interview during your admissions, and what sorts of questions are asked usually ?
Hi! Let me send this to them for them to see and respond to you.
Hi there! :) Christy and I did not get a second interview for our application process. I understand that the school has been giving second interviews (due to the high volume of applicants) since the fall.
@@lynn5405 hi! In your experience was CAHE a good program? I’ve heard mixed things :)
@@lynn5405 hi! I have my interview coming up at CAHE, do you find out if you get in right after the interview or is there some waiting?
What if you finish prerequisites from another school?
you can see if your ultrasound program will accept those prereqs.
Great video so informative…..love it. Is there a way I can contact Christy by email? I am also in Nyc and interested in sonography.
her instagram handle is in the description box, perhaps you can dm her there if possible! if you don't have instagram, let me know!
@@lolgeselle I dont have insta :/
Are you able to work while you do the program?
if you work a flexible job or have a flexile program, yes! I worked weekends while in my program.
Hey i hope you see this, im also from Suffolk county and in the process of applying for sonography at CAHE and wanted to talk if you didn’t mind
You got this! you can join our Facebook group to ask them! Link in description !
How come there are only 12 students left?
sometimes people drop off from the program, don't pass classes, or decide ultrasound isn't for them!
