Shiny Celebi in Time After Time is meant to promote the new movie, in which had the virus not put a wrench in anime production, would have aired around the Japanese release date.
Also, Lillie’s Magearna isnt Shiny. Actually, we dont know if its shiny, they are completely identical. And not just a single level of contrast lower like the other slightly changers

I like to think that in the anime, a shiny Pokémon and a non shiny Pokémon have a better chance at hatching a shiny egg, and that 2 shiny Pokémon would almost always hatch a shiny.
Always thought that would feel more realistic, but I can also see why gamefreak wouldn't want to implement it in the games. Also the idea that alternative coloring would make them a more favorable mate.

I feel like since its been clarified that the anime and the games are different universes, it can be fair to say that they may have different shinies. In which case an alt colour could be considered a shiny.

dunno if this has already been said, but there is a shiny toxicroak in journeys. i cant remember what episode but one of the team rocket grunts has it. pretty sure it is when a ton of grunts came and stole everyones pokemon in like season 1 or something
It has been years, but I do remember a shiny Sudowoodo. I looked it up and found that its from the episode All That Glitters is Not Golden! from the 173rd episode of Pokémon the Series: Ruby and Sapphire.

Shiny shuckle was the first shiny pokemon (besides gyarados) that I've ever caught. And I was a child and didn't know that it was a shiny at the time and traded it to my friend tyler for a raikou because I could never catch it in my game and I had already used my master ball on entei.

I remember seeing the episode with the shiny ditto. Only i had no idea that shiny pokemon were a thing. I just thought ditto came in multiple collors, like some other pokemon do.
My very first and only shiny pokemon i ever owned was a shiny ditto in pokemon black, witch was the first game i completed the story in becouse i didnt speak english when i played pokemon diamond.
I wanted another ditto becouse an npc wanted to trade a ditto. So i had a second ditto with a slightly higher level. So naturally i traded the lower level one.
I later came to realize it had been a shiny pokemon.
Tldr: i traded my only shiny pokemon i ever owned with an npc...

When I was 10 I randomly found a shiny Shuckle in the Safari Zone, in a rom of Emerald. I lost the save file on my PC years ago but miraculously found an ancient save state with it in the PC when looking for ROM save files to inject pokemon from them into my physical games.
If anyone's curious, I injected the pokemon into my physical Firered cart using PKHex and a GBA save backup program on a DS Flashcart. Technology is so cool....

Onix was my first shiny. I remember Onix's in gen 3 were grey, but this one looked a nice brown color, so I nicknamed it 'Bronze'.

If they ever decide to end pokemon, they should have a final season where all of Ash's accomplices(?) Or better known as friends, even Team Rocket get together to stop a world catastrophe. In the end of the season, Ash dies while his friends live on to tell the legend of Ash
Said world catastrophe should be caused by the final legendary, with it being stopped by the other legendaries being ridden by Ash. An explosion of power causes Ash to die offscene.

The double transform ditto....in gen 1 games if you had a shiny from gold and silver , got a ditto to double transform , it would become shiny in the next games

I'm fully aware they are different individuals. But the shiny celebi keeps making me think of celebi from explorers of time, darkness and sky. I, at first, thought the shiny in the anime was a nod to her. But now I don't think so
