Check out this video where Yiheng plans XXCrosses with only 6 seconds of inspection on average! czcams.com/video/vwZZa4kfVj4/video.html
I've been saying this all day but a counting 3 is insanity
without a pll skip too
This is brilliant stuff. what a time to be alive
I guess, he'll get a WR single soon... Probably in just 2 months.
Maybe even next week
1st month.. still hope!
He didn’t :(

Insane average! And nice setup to film this video.
Thx for this quality content❤
Glad you enjoy it!
the notification on the first solve killed me also thats an interesting point at 9:20, thanks to you and stewy for recons
I really really enjoy Brian Sun's style of breaking down solves.. very brilliant, warm and educational while at the same time being nonchalant
bro got such a good average...FULLSTEP
Great video, thanks!
this kid is insane considering we're in one of the most competitive eras of speedcubing
This kid is insane 🤯
Daam he has 5 sub 4sec singles and 3 sub 5 averages
He's far better than Tymon and Max TBH
He is, at 3x3.
Miles ahead
SUB 4.5!?!?
We are at the point that a sub 4 average feels actually possible, since we are closer to 4.00 than to 5.00
This feels unreal
Brina the type of cuber to unironically backseat cube the WR average
?
@@BrinaSun I meant like all the times in the video where you said "he should've done this, I would've done this, etc". I love all your content but parts of this video make it sound like you think you have better solutions than Yiheng.
I don't want to hate cause I always like watching your recons. And you did mention towards the end that he's starting to make you realize simpler may be better, it's just something to look out for.
Well the truth is, even the world record holders make mistakes sometimes and it’s worth pointing them out to an audience that would otherwise be unaware of them. Anyone, even the fastest cubers in the world would still benefit from exploring different solutions and algorithms and I’m just here to share them.
I will try to make it sound less critique-y if you think that would help though, thanks for the feedback!
Yiheng actually always did white and sometimes yellow, he's dual cn, just a chance that this avg had only yellow cross solves
there is so much potential. Consider his age and simplicity in his approach. Add some non-trivial F2L algs + maybe ZBLL or something like that in the mix, and we will get an ultimate speedcubing machine
GGS TO HIM HOLY
So close to pure sub 5 how 🤯
pog
Bro yiheng is crazy also why no white cross on first solve lmao
Idk maybe he just saw the xcross in 2 seconds and decided to do that
This is lower than my pb single😂😂😂
lol
He also does white, but he does have an obvious bias for yellow though.
No if you look at his stats on scdb he does white more. I think he’s doing what brina did and is doing yellow only to become dcn
Brina u have a FRUF alg sheet right? I cant find it on ur channel can you send me link pls
I do not
Wasn’t one of tymons recent wr averages yellow only or am I remembering that wrong
You mean the 5.09? Is was 4 times yellow and 1 time green
@@geknattertes1004 yeah, that’s the one so there was one green in there never mind hah
mic so good u can hear the breathing
Is that actually a good thing? I may have been a bit close to the mic lol
@@BrinaSun not rly tbh 💀
lul
What is the 3x3 avg WB?
I've been having this doubt for a long time
I think yiheng has a sub 4 ao5 but not on cam I think the ao5 YTWB is 4.16 by max or I might be pulling that out my ass I swear I saw that
@@Harrysun7 thats the world record single not avg
@@wallonice yes. . I did a mistake.
looked it up apparently its 4.20 by Max
@@RozvereeWhere did you saw it?
Brain Sub 🧠
ok
Yes
Two v perms in a wr average
Welp, I give up on cubing
what cube is that
I do not understand how
Stickerd Cube? LOL
lol
i give up
What do u mean by ringtone
Listen closely, turn your volume up, you’ll hear someone’s phone’s ringtone
I would say if Yiheng Wang is doing it, then there is a good reason.
well, just because you’re the fastest cuber in the world doesn’t mean your perfect and can’t continue learning and improving
Even the fastest make mistakes
@@BrinaSun No, but this is pretty basic, and considering this move and his skill and solves, the more likely assumption is that it was intentional for a good reason.
That’s not entirely true 100% but for the most part, yes
WHATTT??
Again?
Lets see how he does outside China.
This was outside China
Do u know who's the teacher ?
You are telling me that he got TWO FULL-STEP SUB4 SINGLES IN THE SAME AVERAGE?
I am indeed telling you that
hmm i wonder who made the pfp and the banner for you... hmm
Honga did
@@BrinaSun im honga lol but my acc got banned
Nice reconstruction but what's with the "he's just a TPS guy and not very efficient" tone? All you "fewest moves" guys do not produce world record times. Fewest moves solutions do not always translate to faster times. Fewest-moves guy is still looking for the best "solutions" while TPS-guy is already done.
Fr the whole video was passive aggressive
err I’m not trying to say he’s bad I’m just trying to say that what he’s doing is interesting.
Also he’s very efficient actually, what I’m saying is he uses one alg for each case rather than learning more than one which is what I do. I believe that although that means he will have to do more cube rotations, using less algs means less thinking and therefore less recognition time.
I’m just trying to get the point across that what he does is different from what I believe is the best but a few world class cubers like himself have proven that a one alg for each case approach also works
I actually think he’s done a basically optimal and efficient solution for all of the solves.
The only 2 exceptions are the sledge y R U R’ and the y U2 L’ U’ L U’ L’ U L. Everything else in my opinion was incredibly well done in terms of efficiency
Sorry if I appeared to be passive aggressive, that’s not really what I was intending.
(Also, if you haven’t noticed, the efficient solutions I showed aren’t simply used just because they are less moves, it’s because they are actually consistently faster. That’s what makes them worth using!)
@@BrinaSun Okay, you have the scramble, you have the "more efficient, consistently faster" solutions. Let's see you use your faster solution to beat the world record.
9:52 he didn’t do this r perm
R U’ R’ U’ R U R’ U R’ D’ R U’ R’ D R2 U R’
No, he did
NOTICE ME BRINA

i meant like it was crazy
i would never question zaddy yiheng
