- Some tools didn't have a home and I needed a nice metal bench to put them on. I found one on Marketplace that seemed perfect. Watch how I restore two very handy tools in my workshop!

Great video Scott!
What a lucky find! Maybe I need to scour FB Marketplace more. Great prsentation and detail. Great innovation on how to use it for mounted tools. Congrats! 👍👍
Thank you Gary! Great to hear from you again! What’s your next project?
Fantastic job! Love the simplified video
Thanks!
What a cool find and great work!
Thank you! 🙏🏻 Would you believe I bought the bench with vise for $120?
I have the same ones, model 51871 I also want to restore, tell me where I can order the original jaws craftsman 5 1/2 for them
I have yet to find a legit place that sells them. I would suggest looking for a used one that you can refurbish the jaws. I will do more research and get back to you.
Another option is to tap holes in your vice to accept a different pair of jaws. Sorry I couldn’t be more of a help. 🤷🏻
I have sponges, but they are a little battered and cut, and the main thing is that there is not one screw, but there is a specific one that has a cone, and you can't buy it in a regular store.
that's why I thought that it is possible to completely replace the sponges, and the set includes screws
These are the screws I purchased and they work perfectly. www.ereplacementparts.com/product_info.php?products_id=1016744&OrderShipped#RepairInstructions
