How inspiring to not only hear this beautiful indigenous ethnic music but also realize that after four generations past the codification of Apartheid (1948), the children of Zulu, Xhosa, Sotho, Tswana, and Dutch are joyfully singing together as one.

Nope no cookie for speaking the local language, I lived in the US and now in Belgium, I dont get praised for speaking the local language well because it is expected . I learnt the language in two years because I respect my host country which is more that I can say for some people who have lived in my country for many generations.

Stunning. This has been a sh*tty year and it's easy to be down about humanity. But stumbling across this choir this morning gave me a bit more faith that humans are capable of creating singularly beautiful things. More please.

Thank you for this. No idea how it ended up on my feed but I’m happy about it.
Also, as a gay, watching straight white guys dance awkwardly brings me so much joy.
