Wow, you guys are incredibly efficient. Easily thee best channel for fire and rescue. The Americans have a lot to learn from this channel, as do us all. Thank you. Greetings from Republic of Ireland.
Mauloa its just ever american video they take sooo long.
American tactics may be different but they never seem to have the like get up and go, or sense or urgency. It’s always slooowww
czcams.com/video/zQ8sjB2jibg/video.html
Ryan Pithey also that is 1 of millions of videos of the US. You seriously think that the whole US fights fire like that!? There are videos of Europeans being slow but I don’t go and say Europeans are slow and lame...
Mauloa Thompson I never said they were lame I just pointed out that they seemed pretty slow.
I love these authentic, 1st person view videos. Thanks to the Firefighters for doing this job and thanks to everyone who's involved in the media team. ❤️👌
Strong work gentlemen! Stay safe out there. Cheers from Texas, 29 years service, retired.
Kent Carter we will certainly do that
Thans for your sevice. Stay safe Bro, and enjoy your retirement
Yeah you can learn a lot from those guys the US fire department is realy bad. No high pressure hoses no one-seven and the hoses are not on reels but lay lose on the engine. they have a million lights on them but there engines are far behind compared to the dutch engines.
Great video Have watched a few now I'm amazed how difficult access to some of the commercial properties can be and full credit to how you deal with this
I find it remarkable how you prioritize the first attack rather than first setting up water supply etc. If you watch videos from us fire departments they take much longer till first water /foam on fire and subsequently have to fight a larger fire and have more damage etc.
we have a different set-up system than in America. we also have 1500 liters of water in our fire engine, so we can always make a first attack.
TRue! So true, I can be angry how much times it takes before USA firebrigades begins to work.
Stupid, the most stupid is they are proud for that to, because they think they are the best.
Fire trucks in europe are alot more diferent then american... In slovenia they go on fires with 2 or more trucks and first is tehnical with 1500l-3000l then water truck with 7000l and soo on
never seen a video of german fire departments engaging that quickly (except on burning cars)
Well they are working withe the excellent one seven Foam, that's awesome. I wonder why US FD didn't not use it.
Very cool to see how other countries approach fire fighting.
Americans seem to think one needs a big truck and big hose to fight fires. In many European countries fires are put down more efficiently with smaller gear and less water.
Love the efficiency of these guys. Great work
Nice job guys! Respect from Russia!

Sure did give that wall a good soaking, i was wondering myself ,why isn,t that going out in there. Surprise, Surprise. Great video. They should give them men some bigger crowbars and give those ones back to the kids. Mark. Canada.

Goed gedaan!!

Fire: "I'm burning this building down and there's nothing you can do to stop me"
Firemen: *gets out lines and starts foaming the fire*
Fire: "Ah shit"
These guys are "Fire Killers" and they attack and get right in there to deal with it. U.S. takes forever to setup while the fire grows out of control. Then they can't put the water on the fire. They just spray randomly into a building, half the time just hitting a wall and the water is not even getting on the fire. Drives me crazy with the US guys. Excellent work Dutch....
Brandweer weert brand. Top!
Gaaf hoor
Great firefighters. Great coordination. Very professional.
Just when you thought your'e protecting exposures... you found out it was a actually wall.

It's really nice to see attack first before setting up water supply.. or doing it at the same time
Fascinating videos. Thank you for posting 👏
Different country different style.. nice
I give credit to your efficiency, however the lack of tools surprised me. Where we'd be running up to that with all sorts of hooks, axes, chainsaws, the other firefighter just risks a little burn to tear the paneling down by hand. Nothing against it, just didnt expect it
Most of the buildings here are made out of concrete. So most of those tools wouldn't have any purpose.
Note that they had to take ladders above a hedge so then it takes time to get all the equipment over, and the most important thing is: Water.
Then you can get the other stuff, and as seen here, nothing more needed than a crowbar. No need to overdo something.
The Danish have got it right. Tanker with heaps of water/ foam to get the ball rolling. America has beautiful shiny engines but take ages to setup and attack fire! I saw footage of a small unit fire in N.Y. where ten trucks turned up. Inefficient and there was overcrowding of the fire scene
Only two trucks put the fire out but took them ages to get water on it.
I’m guessing English isn’t your first language ....yes ?
@@jimfitz1432 The worst firefighters I've ever seen U.S.A all the way! Oh but they do have cool fire trucks but I think that's to make up for their incompetence. You know like you with your stupid come back. To make up for a big lack you have!

Lol....I’m sorry...
Damn good job! Quick and efficient.
Wow, you are so well equipment and excellent trained, wow 😮😊
That foam works well 👍
No Battalion Officer there telling these excellent Firefighters how to do their job
Do you guys always use foam? How well does it work? How much foam do you have? Is it class A or B foam? I’m very interested!
5:28 Headshot xD
Good Job! The last minutes i got a Winter Feeling ^^
If you guys could use 42.5% fan fog on that branch, that would have taken that fire down quite quickly.
I do like the idea of CAFS though.

Looks like C.L.A.S.P. construction. The roof voids in unmodified buildings can be expansive so good job preventing any fire spread into the void. Had some horrible jobs in that type of construction.
Mooie video mannen👍 RESPECT 🚒🚒
Dank je

Respekt 😎😎😎😎😎
How much foam do they go through in a month?
Super Video 🚒
First of all I would say that the first attack with a high pressure hose probably prevented the spreading of the fire.
Secondly, I'm not a big fan of this type of firefighting. I believe the fire could have been put out WAY faster by spreading the water over a wider area, and moving closer to the fire. The water jet is simply too narrow to be efficient. It took him several minutes to extinguish the fire in a few wooden walls and plastic containers.
And lastly I'm not really sure why they use foam for an outside building, they didn't do that back when I was a fireman.
CAFS systems are common in Europe with tiny street and smaller trucks. They prioritize fast water/foam through reel lines. It works, but sure looks different. One thing is sure in comparison to American departments, these Dutch firefighters sure get fast water and smooth transitional attack.
You should use pure water in this type of scenarios. Better effect and better for the envirement.
good job !!!! in usathat would have taken hours...
why does it last longer than you?
How meen weeks dus it take to be came firefighter in your country?
Do they not have the long fire pike like what US firefighters have for tearing off roofing and walls, etc?
weer leuke video! :-))
To get a comparison of how a US fire department works, I encourage you to look at videos by Captain David Decker of the Newark, Ohio fire department here on CZcams. Excellent videos just like this channel but they also have the communications among the firemen.
David Decker and Stockton Fire Dept is also another favorite. A lot of Europeans think US Fire is slow and inefficient, but those channels are great examples that’s US gets the job done well.
@@mauloathompson7643Its two sided, I'm in Australia we use a mix of US firefighting and European Firefighting. they both have there ups and downs. i got to say the europen gear is better, I do like how much hoses the us trucks have but the European trucks have more gear, and having the pump rear truck not mid is surprisingly better with the field of view for the pump operator, we have a flake of hose at the back which is a us methods but roles in the truck for more length.
@@mauloathompson7643 We now have a high-pressure live rill which is something that should come stranded on US trucks I cant explain how useful it is for car fires and other stuff its on in 10 second of the truck stopping.
Good Job i like the fire servies, ambulanz servies and police
Heel gaaf!

I understand most of you Euro individuals aren’t fond of the western ideologies, we use in our Departments. Think about this fire? You’re using a small diameter hose, an adjustable fog, like at 50 PSI, rubber hose, and a pistol grip nozzle? Foam is useful for Class B fires, etc. You can use a smooth boar, cotton jacket with about 85-100 PSI on an 1 3/4 line and tackle most commercial and residential areas. Don’t degrade the U.S fire service to much, statistics show that plain water and offensive attacks work pretty damn well besides modern construction with flashover that takes 3 minutes now.
Yep we use 1 3/4 hose on my department can take down that fast and no need for foam
Why do the USA never understand our Hosereels. They work at high pressure up to 40bar, (600psi) with an adjustable spray/fog/jet, high pressure = quick knockdown, less water needed, One Seven foam/CAFS needs even less water.
top video
+Leander .T bedankt.
+Leander .T bedankt.
Hoi
+Luca Virdis hoi
Sort of reminds of our current government... one hell of a dumpster fire.... great vid tho!
I know we use big, heavy hose in the United States but this fire would be out in about 30 seconds with an 1.75” hose that sprays about 175 gallons per minute.
Where was the great big fire?? I saw a few flames and that’s about it…. Garden hose probably would have sufficed.
I love foam great for auto fires.
lucky you guy's were fast enough!
+FFN Einsatzfahrten thats wright
Feri cool
What is this display in the rear für?
That is a lot of whipped cream .
Why use foam? Not water?
And where did you put the camera?
Probably because of dangerous chemicals that react when they get in contact with water, for the camera question, I think it's just a gopro strapped to his body
Nothing like good old water at high volume
Super kanaal dit!
