Hello Paul im a great fan of your videos and i was hoping one day you could make a video of your self about your background on music and how did you end up in Thailand as a classical musician? do you perform publicly or do you teach other then on youtube?

I usually don't go on youtube to search for tutorial vids cuz I'm usually good to learn stuff on my own... But the left hand arpeggiated notes are tough. Mainly because I want to be pedalling the bass notes so that they are sustained, all the while making the melody fully legato, at least in sound. But that's impossible, isn't it? Is there a way to do so? In your playing I notice that you pedal on the melody note so the bass is not sustained. I guess the melody is higher priority but if the bass isn't sustained for at least its given note value, it sounds a bit empty, no? Any solutions in mind? I'd prefer not to cheat by playing the melody with my right hand... Any responses are appreciated, thanks.

The sheet music version I dowloaded by Yakov Milstein tells you when you push the pedal (sorry about musical language I'm self taught so don't know much) until bar 6 on my music when it says sempre pedule for the rest of the song including the cadenzas.Do you think I should take the pedal away for the cadenzas? The thing is I cannot sight read annotate the notes and to have to re do that on different music would be a huge pain plus re learning part of the song in terms of pedal. Nice way to get the posers off your back PB, announcing that you can get the sheet music free and from where at the beginning. And it sounds so natural, like your not even trying to fend off those losers with nothing better to do but pick on someone with true talent, You should have thought of that sooner. :p
