Has anyone else noticed that there have been many videos popping up with misleading descriptions for the video? This is one of many since Quasar has not ever been a Marvel version of Superman I wonder if this is a new thing video creators are doing to get more views
MARVEL has Hyperion and Gladiator who are literal tributes to Superman, I believe Nova is more like Green Lantern. Quasar did start that way but became so much more I think 🤔. He definitely needs to return. MARVEL needs him. No mention of the Annihilators. I guess showing him next to Gladiator would kill the Supes thing. Still a good video

And Quasar is more like Green Lantern with his Quantum bands being more like a Lantern Ring and being able to do the things a Lantern Rung can do. But he’s definitely hardly nothing like Superman though.

Well, at least when Marvel was propping him up to be their Superman back then. He doesn't really fit perfectly in the mold as he's somewhere between Supes and modern WW. I've also seen some compare him to Shazam (which actually circle back to the Superman analogue).

And his team the Squadron Supreme is an analog to DC’s Justice League with NightHawk as Batman, Zarta the Power Princess as Wonderwoman, Dr Spectrum as Green Lantern, and Whizzer as Flash. And also there’s Sentry who’s just as strong as Superman and has an S on his costume and then there’s Gladiator who’s name is Callark a mix of Cal El and Clark Kent.

I think Marvel’s superhero QUASAR, has the best traits of both young Superman, and of a Green-Lantern combined.
