While practicing this sit straight in a kind of hook on head posture or even better lie down with a small pillow under your head...
    Slow breathing naturally results in correct breathing ... and practicing this everyday will automate Correct Breathing throughout the day...

    a great tip to calm any nerves and have a level head that my Buddhist religious studies taught me whenever we'd warm up to get in the right headspace for meditation (but also applies to just general life) is to breath with a little bit of a formula like inhale for x, hold for a second, then exhale for x+1. We'd always gradually ramp it up to use all of our lungs so we'd start on inhaling for 4 seconds, hold, exhale for 5 seconds, and then by the end of the exercise we'd be inhaling for the max we could do so personally it was usually in for 8, hold, out for 9. It both gives you something to focus on to get you in the present moment and also gets rid of all the carbon dioxide and stale air in your lungs giving more room for the oxygen when you go back to normal breathing.
    Like as long as i've known this i've never got angry and lost my composure in any kind of argument (granted i'm a pretty calm person by default but still it keeps me from getting stressed and making bad choices) and i've been facing mad stress at college and it just sorts me out and clears my head so i can try to get back into a work flow

    Because of this video I realized that I experience major anxiety day in day out because of my shallow breathing. Once I started breathing deeply into my stomach consistently everything has gotten better. I learned from a book called "Emotional Intelligence" that physical feeling, thought, and behavior all make up any particular emotion, and any one of those aspects will trigger the other two. So I was triggering the thoughts and feelings of anxiety by breathing shallowly which is one of the behaviors of anxiety. On top of that I realize that part of why we feel so good after we work out is because we are consistently breathing deeply during our workouts. This is one of the best things I've ever learned, thank you Hamza 🤝

    Interesting to see how you discover spiritual knowledge and actually experience the benefits of it. You are logical too, but I think the feminine part in ourselves helps us in being open to stuff like this. Iam too, a very logical person and I never believed magic shit like this, until I met a "witch" which is now a good friend.
    Since I opened up to this iam just amazed on how fucking macial this universe and alone our earth is. There is so much more than the official media tells us and I think that's beautiful because it awakens my truest self to discover and understand this knowledge. I wish you the best energy to spread this knowledge! You play really important part in humanity!

    Hamza I've been watching your videos for quite a bit now and I've noticed a pattern of you saying that most young men aren't in that good of a position or that their mental and physical health isn't at its greatest. Where I live its quite the opposite and a day doesn't go where I don't see a lot of people that have built their dream physique or talked to people who write for gratitude and meditate. Most men I talk to are ambitious and work hard for their goals and although there is a lot of people I know that don't do that as well I feel like a lot of men are in a good situation and are happy with themselves.

    Breath like a king is such a huge advise. When I read David Deidas book, I started doing it while reading the book. It was insane how energized I became after a few really deep belly breath. The whole body get awake when we breath fully in our belly and our chest. This also has an significant impact on how we interact with people. It is way easier to communicate clearly and decisively.

    I noticed that that a few weeks ago too!
    That's very weird, but I was in my head about emotional situations and noticed, because I was baked af, that I was breathing... "Sadly" shallow breaths without life. And then I thought what happens if I breath happily and strong, so I did and it fucking worked so fast that my mind was blown. I said that day that breathing is the key to everything and I will stick to it!

    Hello Hamza. I have a question for you. Let's say you start doing the good mental habits and you make progress mentally but there are days when you get the feeling that you're "not enough". This mostly stems from childhood trauma. Maybe one day could you talk about how to deal with feelings of not being enough when they arise. Thank you!

    • @Bobbys119

    • @yeeter567
      @yeeter567 Před rokem

      Them thoughts will always come to you and bad thoughts will always happen.For example, if you have a thought (bit serious but whatever)"Why don't I just commit suicide" and when that would happen I would used to just have a battle with myself in my head and it would just become a mess.Point is thoughts can be very random and most of the time mean nothing.I like to think that 80% of my success comes from 20% of my thoughts when I act on them meaning that the other 80% of my thoughts are probably just rubbish and won't get me anywhere.
