Great tip! That would be a perfect way to separate a scene
Ok this is less with the actual creation and more how you implement it, kind of part of the consistancy rule but always scale your pixel art the same in engine!!! Pixel art should creaate the illusion that your looking into a world through a low res camera, and the individual pixels being different sizes shatters this illusion.

the color palette tip definetely doesnt work for me, every time i try to choose a color palette from lowspec i get really lost and have no idea which colors to use or how to use them specially with the more lmited palettes
