The White Death was very stealthy, he always wore a white camouflage cloak that made him blend in with the snow. He would put snow in his mouth to hide his breath in the cold, and he never used a sniper's scope because the scope could reflect sunlight and give away his position to enemy Russian snipers sent to kill him. So he was old school, using only he iron Sights on the rifle itself for aiming. As the war continued, he was such a problem for the Russians that if they learned he was in some region on the frontline, they would immediately order artillery strikes on that region hoping to kill him with artillery.
