McCabe is a warrior. This guy is an unsung hero who deserves more praise than he gets. He has taken a beating with bloced shots, high sticks etc

The fact that Reevo put the first goal on himself is telling. He didn’t blame on it anyone else but himself and he’s right. This team has no structure or leadership and it shows on the ice. He’s also right, that game is in the rear view mirror.

The Leafs played the Bruins four times and got swept. You would think the Leafs would have had their game adjusted and ready for the playoff.

3 of the core 4 didnt score. It's a big problem. Why? You lose if you can't score. Nylander missing game 1 hurt bad. Also, Edmundson's pinch was bad. Not Reavo's fault.
Ref work in boston every game is the same..calling bench minors on the equipment manager...the stick guys assistant equipment managers the parents of the players ect..

The leafs demonstrated they will not be pushed around, good to see. It may have cost them game one because of penalties but it’s a good investment for future games. Get game focused/ dialled in mentally forget about emotions. Go Leafs!

Honestly i think doing a bit to boost moral for the boys would go a very long way. Always against boston the boys play with their heads down. Willy being out and coming from the end of a regular season on a 4L streak, and now with losing g1 in this series has gotta fucking hurt. Yes don't be soft but the reason great teams are great and win cups is because they spend years playing with each other. The Leafs keep changing half the roster and every year is a try out in preseason and regular season is pre season figuring out lines. It's a live simulation sprint board for players to go else where and get more money or reap the benefits of the great medical staff. High taxes don't help either.

Haven’t been watching, but social media was calling for his head after the Tampa game. To be fair, that wasn’t on Nylander, he looked bad on play given his body language, but that was a high stick we all know what happens if he touched it.

Suspending a guy 1 game and masking it as injury is a weak ass move. He had a 98 pts yr, 9 away from Auston who had an MVP year.

As players you can’t dwell on shit plays too long, hence the response of the guys but they KNOW what went wrong. Problem is I don’t think KEEFE is too aware of HIS mistakes. That worries me. No bounce against Boston Yet. Like McCabe said "keep making adjustments accordingly". Leafs had 4 kicks at the can during the season without success. Preparation for game one should have been the biggest adjustment.
Great emotion in game #1, but IMO, the Leafs need to focus and channel those emotions into the details of the game and not into how desperately they want the puck, or the next hit, or how they’d love to decapitate the Boston ratfink.
Refocus and channel those emotions toward the details of the game. The desperate desire to get the puck/next big hit is great but situational awareness is everything in the playoffs.
Let’s hope they can bounce back in game #2.

Marner is just pancake mix on skates. His brand of hockey is UTTERLY useless when hitting season starts. He will NEVER take a hit to make a play, and NEVER skate in straight lines. He is a figure skater doing figure eights around the edges. If you wear a Marner jersey you might as well cheer for the Habs
