- I did my current best to bring you my honest thoughts of the Acus M1 Plus.
Is it amazing…? Should you purchase this over others…? YES on both accounts! It’s everything you could want in one machine. I’ve been tattooing for 12+ years and used my share of quality machines and this is the one. The one to rule them all! I love questions, so please don’t hesitant to ask.
The M1 and M1 Plus are the same identical machines, the plus has the larger grip, which I would recommend.

@@ShadowCasterTattoo I’ll be more at ease knowing that the machine is more sanitary than what I get with my Bishop Power Wand cause the M1 fully comes apart for proper sanitation. It’s a great all rounder but it should be noted that it is a softer hitting machine. I tried the 4.2 and the 4.5mm stroke and thought it was still a tad soft.
Thanks for the insight! It definitely feels less throaty that my other pens. Reminds me of how my coils hit.
Bro m+2 makes a great liner with the 5mm stroke and heavy weight u can even do large magwork with it....its no kubin or a coil but harder hitting than most multi stroke machines its just perfect for walk ins for me

Okay. Of they work for me, I think I’ll keep it. (Not like I have a choice) @adamdarklord said they may do software updates for it too.
The motor on the tattoo machine is very strong. The main reason it’s soft I believe is because it has aluminum cams, I wouldn’t be surprised if we see heavier brass cams sold by them sometime soon 😉
Once you get used to it, its amazing, you can get very deep saturation with no overworking of the skin

Is it heat resistant?
Anodized aluminum is heat resistant however it depends on other factors. I’ve reached out to Acus for clarification as their company stays “it can be completely disassembled and wiped down from the inside.”
Some alloy is good up to 60 °C (140 °F), as temperatures above 70 °C (158 °F) can cause the coating to crack. I actually ruined a couple grips this way from another company.
I pull a 14rs and a 18rl with this machine easy. I'll make a vid about it soon. People are talking a bunch of BS about this machine. It's amazing.
Same, it literally has no trouble with anything so far. Fk fan boys gonna hate 😆
@@ShadowCasterTattoo I use the 14rs often and most of the time on 4.1mm cam and not the 5mm. I understand that people have some issues to get use to the machine, but as soon as you understand it, it is simply amazing. Is going to be hard to beat this one!
@@bullsheeptattoo I 💯 agree! At first I wasn’t sure, but I quickly picked it up. I had to use it more like a coil machine. After that it was like the machine did exactly what I wanted EVERY time. Idk though, I’m hearing good things about the Nuema from @adamdarklord
