  • Had to recover a rental jeep from the Gold Bar Waterfall. Our intention was to repair in place, however not having the proper lugnut socket meant we had to carry it out. Took it to the shop and replaced the axleshaft and balljoints.

The more I watch this channel, the more impressed I get with Rory, his driving and mechanic skills, and trail Mater. Rory, you are an incredibly intelligent and talented man! Keep up the fantastic work!

I really like some of these new camera angles. The suspension cam and the boom cam this time around. Also, I was wondering if the trail was really pinched on the other side when you ran up on the rock and then right away you explained it was good luck to run over the goonie bird's toes. I appreciate the effort to improve our viewing experience. 👍👍

Most people likely did not pick up in the lone ranger/Tonto greeting at the start of the video. I loved it. A side kick is exactly what the show needed.

I sure like the camera up on top of the boom, it gives a good sense of where we're headed and what the obstacles are. This channel just keeps getting better and better! Keep up the good work Rory.

I enjoy this channel a lot. Trail Mater is quite the beast of a machine and coupled with Rory with his knowledge and expertise in mechanical stuff is enjoyable to watch. What amazes me are the situations that folks get themselves into with the 4X4s way out in the middle of nowhere. Rory, thanks for showing the beautiful scenery that you work in on a daily basis.

Love the "Crane-Cam", Sean and his camera work. Sean's tough for riding in the Jeep like that.

Rory is all business. Not flashy he just gets the job done. IMHO the best of the off road recovery channels. Brass stones to be sure

Hey Rory, I am impressed yet again. Matt and Robby yank~em out, but you incorporate a gentle lift and haul! Well done!

Thank you for the ride along. I, most likely, am seeing more of Utah on your channel, Morr's Channel and Fab Rats' channel than I ever will in person. It is amazing for the rescues and I know people are thankful for those, but the scenery is spectacular.

Stunning landscapes as always, and I loved the Go Pro shot of the air shocks and rear diff in action. Really nice shock mount fabrication, looks very strong and well placed. You must be so satisfied with your creation, not just a badass rat rod 4 speed big block tow truck, but a supremely functional off road wrecker that brings home the bacon. Thanks for taking the time to make these videos and sharing what you do.

Rory this is an excellent video in all respects. 👍This was a challenging recovery and you did a great job telling your audience what was happening and what you were trying to accomplish. The camera angles used were excellent and the video is very sharp, good color etc. You seem to be more comfortable "talking to camera" too. Good stuff!! 🙂Please keep it coming and thanks.

Really liked the boom camera shots. I got my wife watching these with me and she said “he’s got some skills with that truck, his maneuvering is incredible.”
