- The stop-motion story of a two-headed dinosaur, and his struggles in the modern world. My tribute to Ray Harryhausen, Kaiju films, Jack Harris, Dinosaurs Attack trading cards, etc... See the sequel here: • Night of the Beast (fr...
This was one of the things that first inspired me to do stop-motion!!! Ray Harraussen would be very proud!! I also just love this!! It's so cool!!!
Also I did this math for no reason, an average tank is about 7 feet tall, this creature is about 7.5 times that height...making it 50 feet tall, it was able to pick up the 70 ton tank...this creature about 2,949 tons! and the cycloptopus is about 2,950 tons, and the beast was able to throw it around...making it able to carry 2,950 tons...wow, its stronger than I excepted
Thank you, that's incredible! And of course I never thought too hard about the physics of this stuff any deeper than in a cartoon-logic way. Those are some wild stats, thanks for spending the time to figure that out too!
I remember watching this many years ago, and it still is a lot of fun to watch!
We need more of this in our CGI dominated world.
Check out bluworm channel he makes some really good animations.
Yeah cgi is to expensive also the new clash of the titans from 2010 has a budget of 125 million but the old one from 1981 has a budget of 15 million
Reminds me of Peter Jackson's Stop-Motion!!!!! Great creature!!!!
Many thanks!!
Brilliant work! Ray Harryhaussen would be proud!!
Dude! This Is Amazing! Just Like An Actual Ray Harryhaussen Film!
It’s cool and goofy which makes it even better
FANTASTIC WORK, Ryan!!! You definitely know your stuff! Ray Harryhausen and Willis O'Brien would be proud of you! Thank you from a big fan of stop-motion and the 'old' ways!
Oh, and by the way... your monsters are the COOLEST!!! Love the 'Future Home of WalMart' sign!
Thank you for those kind words, much appreciated!
I usually can't stand most amateur stop motion films but clearly you put some real effort & quality into this one, despite the low budget of it all. I especially enjoyed the humor & character you added into this piece, without going into stupid, obvious spoof territory. And despite his murderous ways, 'Two-Headed Mutant Ceratosaurus' has an endearing personality. The Spaghetti Western ending was also a nice touch - awesome job all around!
I call him:
Twin rex,
Double giga,
2-allo
Thanks Al! When I imagine Ray watching it, he's being very critical (but only 'cause he want's to be helpful..).
Sublime job. The way movies ought to be made. Thank you👍👍👍
Thank you!
wow! I absolutely love the monster design nice job man
0:23 - wow, the English language has been around for twenty zillion years! Things I learn watching youtube.
Not Trying To Be Rude, But The Title Is « The Beast From 20 Zillion Years Ago » It Doesn’t Take Place 20 Zillion Years Ago😂, Hopefully This Helped.
They are built up, with wire armatures. I agree, we need more crazy dinosaur stuff!
I was reading about this in the latest issue of Scary Monsters Magazine, article about Monster Bash and had to jump on youtube to have a look. Great film, really good soundtrack and top notch animation. Really fun!
Nice! Love the creature design!
Angus Lamont Thanks Angus!
@Cayden Entertainment it must have been the "Playskool My First Tank"
Great work ! Lots of time and patience put into this I'm sure.
I loved this! We need more stop motion animation. Takes me back to my youth. Very funny stuff in there.
BEST VIDEO EVER!!!
Extremely entertaining! I absolutely loved it. Stop-motion rules! Thanks to the B-Movie Cast for sending me over here.
Best monster movie ever
I caught this at BlobFest over the summer. Thanks for uploading it! I loved it.
Amazing
Great story, characters, animation, music, awesome!
Awesome, this inspired me to start being a filmmaker when I was younger and coming back to it now it’s just as good as I remember! 😊
That's so cool to hear, thank you!
Dude this is was amazing glad I’m not the only one that does stop motion
Thanks man! Keep doing it!

“Old but good”

Always fun to binge watch this video and its sequel. Really hope a third one gets released in the near future.
Thanks, that means a lot to me! I'm planning the third one now, so that means probably in 2022.
Awsome! I love the sets and I always appreciate original monster designs! Nice work, Mr. Lengyel!!
+Brian James Daley
Thanks a lot!
This was pretty good so you should get a thumbs up for that. I did. But you should get an extra one for the tank/projectile gag at the beginning.
Cool monster film man, like seriously this is amazing, your monsters have alot of personality and are very well designed
Thanks man!
Ryan Lengyel yea this is great, I hope to see more of you...how do you only have 174 subs lol? You are great at stop motion and the details are on point👌
@@justsomeguywithoutinternet2283 thanks for watching Dude, I appreciate your taco eating policy!
Ryan Lengyel lol...you deserve at least 100k subs..why don't you make more fights with this two-headed ceratesaures?here is a suggestion..this Dino like monster vs a giant humanoid creature...
Groovy, I'm hoping to have a sequel ready for this year's Blobfest.

Great job with the animation and funny as hell !
I hope you get famous someday for doing this cool stuff !

The two headed dinosaur just needs to breathe fire
Reminds me of the scene in Jack the Giant Killer 1962
Well that was genius. Consider me a fan.
wow.... my mom told me that you made a video of some sort. it was very entertaining.. it must have took a long time to make.
MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREEE!!! 500/10
Thanks! I do plan to do 1 or 2 more with the Beast, but it might take a while...
Thank you very much!
This is a funny film and I'm sure Ray would like it. Did you use wire for armature and what was the skin made of. I think you used some clay too.But i think you did a very good job with animation and story. Well done!
+Mark Chocianowski
They are wire armatures, the skin is latex painted quilt stuffing, with scales cut out of felt. And yes, the eyebrows and lips are clay. Thanks for watching, and look for the sequel in a few days!
Very good story and funny too! Good luck and you tube needs more work from you.
Thanks Justin!
Cool- Thanks for finding it!
My friend Tim who helped me with the sound put together a little documentary about the making of it, I'll post that soon :)
Thanks for checking it out!
Thanks a lot kahunadad! Famous? I'd be happy just to have more time to work on this stuff... Glad you dig it!
It was! I wasn't there to see it, but I want to make it to G-fest one of these years...
nice!
How do you make your stop motion puppets? On my channel I do the wire armatures and foam and latex skins.
Thanks, gusbest1
excellent puppets, are these build-up models? If this is your passion to make dinosaur/ creature stop-motion flicks go for it we need more content of this nature and i know a large group of people, including myself, who want to bring back this art form!
Genial
could you do a how to on those monstres?
Arma Vs Astradon
Was this at G-fest?
What that got do with Wal Mart sign?
Where I used to live, they were constantly trying to build a Walmart on a hill that was constantly given to landslides. This went on for years, and gave me the impression that Walmart will try to build a store wherever, whether it's a good idea or not. So I thought it was a good purpose for a prehistoric monster to be excavated from the earth.. and hopefully a little bit funny. I mean not laugh out loud, but like, "hmmmm.."
Ryan Lengyel ooh
Is zillion even a number or a word?
Well it is a word, an informal way to describe non-specific large number. But not an actual number.
@@ryanlengyel2230 oh okay
¿Pero qué acabo de ver?
SEQUEL!
