sergeant grey is the watch commander, he rarely leaves the station that's probably why he doesn't have a body camera, i remember clearly that everytime he actually gets dispatched somewhere he does have a body camera on. (also could be an error from the director in this episode)
That makes a lot of sense, it's typically part of the uniform code so no matter where you are you have to have it on you. Thank you for the comment 😊
@@OnlyCopsI think there are a few scenes where they go to get the gear and all the body cams are on wall chargers. I think they only put them on as the go out. If you go back and look the guy right behind him has the mount but also no body cam( 3:11). I'd imagine it's due to every inch of the place already having security cameras inside?
He doesn't always get dispatched out. There are lower level supervisors for that. Notice that he has 3 stripes up and one stripe down whereas Tim only had 3 up when he was promoted from corporal to sgt.Sgt.
In larger departments, the watch commander's job is to be the senior NCO to the commander of the station. That means disciplining minor, non termination offenses, approving reports, and otherwise taking care of your people.
@@NoahKuzel i think you need to reread my comment cause ion think you understood it correctly
@OnlyCops my agency(Georgia) issues BWC to our courts/warrants guys but if you're mandated and work the jail they don't issue BWC(I work for an agency that doesn't do patrol we have the county police for that)
Keep doing THE ROOKIE!!!

Actually had this same circumstance happen to me. Was pulled over by a trooper for speeding taking my dog to the vet for his eye. Tropper looked at him for 3 seconds and said have a good day and I hope he's okay.
What a cool dude! I hope your dog got better!
I was in the process of moving cross country. I had just got to my new city after driving almost twelve hours. It was 10pm, raining, and my phone battery had died. I was trying to get to my friend's house so I pulled into a gas station for directions. When I pulled out I had forgotten the road had split into north and southbound lanes and went the wrong way. I quickly realized my mistake and turned around but a Deputy saw me and pulled me over. My car was full of boxes and my two pugs were barking at the cop. He got me out of the car so that we could talk without being barked over. He said he saw my Arizona tags and figured I wasn't from the area. He just wanted confirmation that I wasn't drunk. He pulled out his phone and asked me for the address to my friend's house and wrote down directions. Super cool Deputy.
I'm glad you had a great experience 😁
Man… can’t imagine your experience with that kid at 22:00. One of the most difficult decisions you can make and even that in the moment. All appreciation and love y’all!
I appreciate the kind words 😊
I witnessed a restaurant offering a deputy sheriff food at half price. The deputy insisted on paying full price. The cashier obliged. I commend the deputy for that.
I definitely think that's the best way to handle it. I always packed my lunch so I never really had to worry about food being discounted or paid for unless I had a ride along that didn't have food
Its good to see you guys struggle with these issues. There's a LOT of gray out there. Be careful!
Love to see more Rookie Reactions. Especially when you tear the show up when it comes to comparing it to reality
🤣
Our non-sworn personnel wore similar uniforms to ours, the only difference being their badge. There was one who would dress in uniform on days off and spend the day making rounds, eating at different "officer-friendly" places. IA got involved when a manager asked what her badge signified and why she didn't carry a sidearm....
Woooooooooowwwwwww. Some people man, beyond stupid
I had a Sgt patrolman once say that in his community there is a restaurant who is more than happy to give a police officer of that jurisdiction a meal ticket. That being said it was "suggested" that you leave a tip the value of your meal, plus 10% .Then the restaurant can decide if it is to pay for the meal or it goes to the server.
That's definitely the best way to handle that situation 😊
I find Sgt Grey was being a tad hypocritical with the "officer entitlement" bit. Cause earlier that same episode. Nolan, Chen and West (the rookies) were out enjoying a night out. When they spot Sgt Grey off duty having dinner with his wife. Grey spots them, walks up to them and bascially tells them "i am enjoying my date right now and do not want to think about the job tonight, so leave." Which the rookies do. Until Nolan gets involved with a situation which leads to an escalation and an arrest performed right in front of the table Grey and his wife were sitting at. Nolan being the one to stand at the podium was a bit of a punishment for that.
I find it hypocritical that Grey brings up officer entitlement when he himself more or less used his higher rank as an officer to make them leave just because he didn't want to see them when he was off duty.
I completely agree. The show often times has characters in the cast do stuff both out of character and outside of what would normally be acceptable to create drama or make a point for the writers.
as a starbucks barista i would give officers their drinks or food orders for free from time to time because i appreciate what they do for our community and a free coffee is the least i could do to show my appreciation.
Thank YOU for YOUR service my man! I feel like everyone should have to work in the service industry in college or high-school, it really give you an appreciation for the people supporting our day to day lives and our modern amenities.

Was always taught not to take gratuities, with the exception of coffee/fountain drinks at QT, because their corporate policy is cops get free drinks nationwide. Don’t abuse it, but no harm in taking it occasionally when offered.
We had a similar policy. Like I said in the episode, I always brought my own food so I never had to worry about it 😁
During COVID when things were real rough in my area with how many sick we were dealing with, the coffee shops would give EMS, Fire, and Cops free coffee and pastries. Always left minimum a 10 dollar tip just because.
My grandfather was a small Italian guy but he had been a boxer and could punch through cinder blocks. One of the toughest guys I ever knew. Size can be deceiving.
That is definitely true, there is definitely something to be said about people who are more practiced in violence being able to handle themselves in times of need
Can speak from experience when they say late night clerks shift at gas stations, not only did QT have a POLICY for giving police, Fire, and active military free drinks specifically, but having a patrol officer on overnight check in on you from time to time was a huge relief due to how weird those crackheads get
I have mad respect for gas station staff that worked nights. They are by far some of the most street smart people on the planet
Doesn't QT have their own armed officers at some of their locations,Starting pay seemed pretty good, seen a recruiting poster at one around Atlanta last year.
Not that it doesn’t make him “small statures” but the actor who plays Jackson is beyond ripped.
Ripped is always good 😁
I used to work late night at a fast food restaurant. Had a cop come through the drive-thru and order a meal. I said it was on the house, she said that she couldn't accept free food from a place, so I said then as a grateful citizen I am personally paying for your food because it's the least I could do for the ones who protect and serve.
God bless you 😊
It’s very important to understand police housing situation here in California. There are a lot of wealthy people here and who visit here that keep a handful of our cops & sheriff’s in their pocket. And with the cost of living always rising here it can subject a cop to corruption very quickly.
I totally believe that
@@OnlyCops Google images of the Beverly Hills Police Station. It’s a f’n palace!
Back in 2010 there was a SanFran based tech company offering its staff a $10k moving bonus if they chose to move outside the city and WFH because the company couldn't keep up with Cost of Living increases. Shows how bad it is.
Jackson’s father is the chief of internal investigations
Jackson waves it around like a spoiled kid early in the show 😮💨
The Sgt thinks Nolan is too old to be a police officer and in the beginning tried to get him to quit because he considered him to be a dinosaur. The young rookie bravo mike officer his dad is a high ranking member of the LAPD. So he is acting like an old school cop.
Joseph Wambaugh ( the author, former LAPD cop) wrote about this in one of his novels. In his time LAPD had a black and white policy- being offered a cup of coffee or donut, or even a discounted or free meal, was ok, but exchange of money in ANY ammount was grounds for termination.
I need to read these novels 😊
@@OnlyCops they provide an insight, for a civillian like me, into the world of the street cop. He also wrote a few books about true crimes.
Things have changed, because in the 70s and 80s when I was growing up we regularly gave police officers discount on hamburgers and other items at our Dairy Queen.
🤣 it doesn't really bother me that this happens less. It's not really a perk that should be needed
I worked a Stop-n-rob midnight shift. It was a small chain store and we were told to allow FD and PD officers free coffee. I also enjoyed talking to them at the most boring time of the shift. We also worked 2 people a shift so in 10years I only got robbed 2 times. The store across the street got robbed 10 times one summer but they only worked 1 old guy that shift.
That is wild! I have never been robbed before but it's definitely harder when you have more people around
@@OnlyCops Yes I agree. A lot people thought I should be more effected than I was. To me it was just part of the job. Much like you guys dealing with drunks.
i used to work at a gas station that had a restaurant, i was a waiter. and had 2 regulars that where cops and i never charged for their drinks or coffee just the food, they let me go when they saw me speeding, gave me a warning... overall cool dudes
wow, that story at the end hit me in the soul. I love this channel now
We love you! Thank you for the support!
Would you guys arrest a woman that goes on a "FOODIE DATE"? Same thing the guy did on the show but in reverse.
If I would arrest a man for it I'd arrest a woman for the same thing. Equal treatment under the law baby!
I don’t think anyone could have known what would have been the right thing to do about that 16 year old kid. It’s not your fault another kid was killed by him a year or so later.
I appreciate the kind words. I have made my peace with it but I would be lying if I said it still doesn't bother me when I think of it
Officer West is the son of a die hard Internal Affairs commander so he’s written to be so by the book
That makes sense, but it also makes him pretty insufferable early in this show
This episode isn't in your rookie playlist! I almost missed it.
We need to add it!
Josh mentioned that kid and he gave him a chance, I am sorry but I still think that was the right call in that situation.
It is one of those you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make the horse drink, if he had done a murder one later afterwards, who is to say he hadn't done 2 of them or even shoot a cop once he had been criminal hardened coming out of detention?
Sometimes the upbringing puts people on the wrong track, and they haven't just been dropped there, it has been a slight drift to that point over time.
Only ones that can bring him back is the right network, friends and family and he may have had neither, but you gave him a chance at it, he chose to not take it.
But the information you had in that moment, the information you had to act on could have both lead to the exact same outcome regardless is what I am getting at, hindsight is ALWAYS 20/20 and is... useless for that situation that has happened.
How does Jackson, the black rookie, not go to IA and report his TO for blackmail? She is trying to use an old incident to get him to be complacent in her indiscretion.
There is definitely a lot of misconduct going on in this show that doesn't get addressed. This can unfortunately be the reality in a lot of departments.
You did the right thing by not charging him. Because your intentions were good.
I appreciate you saying that, it's hard to feel that way after the fact given what happened but I try to stay positive about it.
6:54 he has a body cam when he leaves the office
They probably have cameras all over the building so no need for him to wear it
They also say that the body cams are usually turned on once they leave the shop (cause those also have their own cams)
Edit: to add to that the others dont have their cams either during this meeting thats only the gear where u out the body cam when u leave the cams are also where the gear is that they need to set up the shop
That makes WAY more sense. We were responsible for our own bodycams where I came from (Arlington PD, Texas) so we had to have them on as part of the uniform.
@OnlyCops yea idk if that's realistic how they show it in the series as in if the real LAPD does it like that, but it does make sense with how it's generally portayed in it
Thanks guys it's kinda sad that the people that could benefit from seeing Good cops react to situations
He didn't have a bodycam as he is the watch commander and he sits in his office all day where cameras are already watching.
Sounds like "rules for thee but not for me" 🤣 but it does make some sense
“You know what it tastes like? …Justice.” Instant subscribe 😂
Welcome to the channel 🥰 we have a ton of content already published!
The SGT is old school but book smart he understands there are certain exceptions to the rule but his main purpose it to keep you from crossing the line before you find yourself in a situation that might place your job on the line.
I definitely thought this episode did a good job of illustrating that!
These shows make it hard on cops, firefighters, paramedics, and Private Investigators.
Funniest thing for my local department (Canada) is that if a cop goes through the drive-thru they almost never pay for their own food/drink whoever is ahead of them 9/10 times will pay before they get there 🤣🤣
I'm jealous that those officers work somewhere safe enough to go through a drive through 🤣
They only take the body camera when they leave the station. So no one had their camera on their body
That makes a bit more sense. It just seems weird from where Bill and I were cops
I work at a carwash. We technically give police officers free car wash, for their patrol car. I say technically because the both the state and city pay a certain amount for it a month, but the per car is cheaper. Also the officer has to fill out a brief form; name, badge number, equipment number, and department.
We had a very similar policy in my city, we would just sign that we got it washed and the city would pay the tab at the end of the month
its actually seven eleven policy (at least at corporate stores) to give free drinks with the intent of getting them to hang around. Got a flyer in the back suggesting to offer it ..the same flyer talking bout robbery prevention.
That is kinda cool!
Here in Canada, a lot of Tim Horton's locations will give cops free coffee. It's not corporate policy, just something some locations do, especially the 24 hour ones. I've heard from workers that a lot of cops will tip the price of the coffee. Not all, but enough to make it a good night.
I only had food or coffee paid for me a couple of times while I was a cop and I would just pay for the person behind me plus tip every time 😊
the little story around 20min is crazy cuz that's literally the pilot episode XD but no joke I didn't even see it coming, the first episode was absolutely wild
It is definitely a wild show 🤣
They killed off the rookie character because the actor said he couldn’t be in a show that showed the cops in a good light.
Well I'm glad they got rid of the dude
@@OnlyCops "In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Titus previously revealed that he'd already considered leaving the show after learning about the deaths of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor in 2020. He explained: "A lot of people are finding a voice, and I found that for myself, where I was like, 'Oh wow, I've been complacent.' I woke up one morning and I was watching the news, and I was like, 'I can't do this. I can't go play a cop on a show and not talk about the fact that I'm a Black cop.' My character hadn't addressed any of that."
FYI ...
"You know what it tastes like..." 😅😂. Very good!
So she got a ceramic ramekin and metal spoon to go with her creme brulee 14:47
No kidding! Those cost more than the desert! That or it was that fancy of a restaurant 🤣
6:43 well idk if it has any correlation but in the show he rarely leave the department, so maybe that’s why he doesn’t have his on but I’ve seen body cams used inside police departments so ig it’s just overlooked by the costume department
Both are totally a possibility 🤣
Agreed. Also, Gray and Nolan have a Show specific conflict from the Pilot. Gray will haze Nolan because he feels that Nolan is just having a "Eat, Pray, Love" moment and using the LAPD as a path to reinvention. Part of Nolan's drive to double down and to be the best is to prove himself to Gray. Hope you guys try the show! A lot of obvious "Hollywood" but they do a good mix of real/gritty and TV cop/"say what?!" moments!
@@BOng-ev9ds we did indeed film a couple of episodes this past week and will get more context for the scenes.
He doesn’t have a body camera because he’s the watch commander so he doesn’t go on patrol as much
It makes sense from a plot standpoint, but often times the BWC is being integrated into the uniform policy and even if it's not on it's required to be present on the uniform.
That kid wouldn’t not have gone to jail in my state with me on scene. Tough one
So, Officer West wants to be an A.T.M.
We usually have fun with those officers. Had an Academy Classmate who went through God know how many ticket books in his first few years. No warnings, either verbal or written.
He didn't believe in discretion... just black and white in regards to the law.
Those types of cops tend to spend so much time writing tickets, they end up spending very little time responding to real crime and have a Uvalde level of police response when shit hits the fan
@@OnlyCops agreed. I've been out on medical for the past month (spent a week in the hospital, this sucks). I brought my kids to National Night Out this week and met up with some of my coworkers. I was talking to my Sargent and heard one yell, "Hey Sarge, fight in process.. you want in?" I instinctively "targeted" and started to go, but looked down at my clothes and stopped.
Sarge laughed at me when he got back to me saying hopefully I can come back soon... still in the blood.
My classmate was usually last to respond... but hey, at least he was productive? 🙄😒
These videos are entertaining and yet informational and profound, keep it up, you guys should take a look at
Season 2 Episode 1 of the show “19-2”
We are adding it to the list! Thank you so much for the support and feedback!
Ok so what if a customer at McDonald’s or at a gas station wants to purchase ur food or whatever at the gas station but doesn’t want anything in return they just want to say thank u? Would it be ok for them to do that?
My dad buys cops and military personnel food at restaurants just to say thank u for ur service.
It is definitely a very cool gesture and for military personnel there is no conflict of interest because they don't choose how the law is being applied. The officer can't stop you from paying for their food, but like we said in the video, in this day and age officers have to worry about the perception of bias and accepting gifts is looked down upon and often prohibited by general orders.
She's doing a great public service
I work at Dunkin' and our policy is for any police officers that come in they get free coffee on the house, but just coffee.
It's definitely a cool policy, I would like to see that for nurses and teachers too. I never got free anything because I would always pack a lunch but I do understand the places that do it.
@@OnlyCops We do, do it for nurses too. Just not teachers, unfortunately.
When I worked at a Gas station a cop would sit in the parking lot to make sure I could lock up safe bc I was a 20 yr and sometimes when a cop is in the drive thru the car in front would pay for them.
If cops take care of the people, the people will take care of them!
I went on patrol with a Sgt as a probationer in the MPS, first offence I came across was a Parked E type Jag, with no road fund licence, owner was in attendance, had allows documents on the passenger seat as it was about to go and be inspected for road worthiness at an MOT, so I did not issue a ticket, just a chat about the restoration, walked on a d stopped a car where the driver had no seat belt on, turned out she was pregnant so she did mot have to wear one, not that she knew that, she burst into tears, I then calmed her down and explained everything was fine etc. She left and I turned to the Sgt and apologised for failing to write any tickets. He smiled and said no problem that is why we have discretion keep using at you are and we'll be fine.
Spirit of the law 😁
Just out of curiosity, is this “policy” at every police department? My daughter and son-in-law are going into the academy in a few months
You are assuming she didnt pay for it herself.
That is fair, she could have paid for it
So the reason Jackson the rookie in the situation says that he was raised differently and he follows the law is because his father is the head of IA
I miss Gray always fucking with Nolan
NO SPOILERS 🤣
This watch commander tends to get on my nerves, In fact the chief as well before she got written off the show. Their lectures felt like a bunch of "virtue signaling" and their lectures were often super unrealistic like they see their officers as robots, granted officer's should be held to a higher standard and be rid of any temptations that could cause problems, but they often play off this idea that little things will lead you into bigger issues when it could be the simplest thing when its really a case by case scenario, "Officer Jake accepted free coffee at a gas station, now he's going to be prone to asking for more things on his next visit and possibly be more prone to bribery" which is bullshit because what it doesn't take into account is the officer's character, What does Officer Jake normally do in his day to day life and work life.
Yeah, there is definitely writers trying to virtue signal in a lot of these episodes and it makes the show really hard to watch at times. There get a lot of small things right, but they get HUGE things wrong in this show unfortunately.
I understand not letting the establishment give you free food but I as a fellow customer, if I see an officer in uniform or military in uniform, and I have the financial wherewithal and there’s not 15 other people in uniform, then I will buy their food for them because I appreciate what they do.and with that not being an establishment doing anything, they have no real way of it happening again or whatever.
That is beyond cool of you 😁
I must be really tired because I don't understand either of these other comments.....
Nope LOL not tired 🤣 I don't understand them either 🤣🤣🤣
My spamanese is kinda rusty, but I believe it says like, subscribe, and hit that little bell notification.
So question, gratuity comes up quite a bit. Would you classify a store that sells watches, rings, and other expensive things that has a 15 percent discount for ANY first responder including Police, Fire, Medical, and even dispatchers (and even yes military) with proof (no other requirement such as living in-state) as a form of graduity? Noting this discount only applies to watches and other things deemed useful for the job that may not otherwise be provided or paid for in any way by a department. I am curious. Edit: NOTE: It is not free (like most restaurants) also you never said it, what is your thought on a citizen paying for a meal in a restaurant or fast food restaurant (a trusted one). I could give more detail but am going to keep this open.
I would definitely see "qualified professionals" discounts as a type of gratuity, given that it's only applied due to status. The only slight difference I see is it's almost never a free thing and often the brands that offer them just want to see "qualified professionals" using their products because that association is damn near free advertising.
"Influencers" get actually free products for the same reasons. This also happens in other professions like construction, education, and medical fields.
I'm neither here nor there on the practice, but I do think it could definitely be abused in certain contexts.
A lot of bad cops out there painting a very poor picture for law enforcement in this day and age. I hope you guys are better than that.
We would like to think that we are
You should stop by the Thursday livestream sometime! They do really solid breakdowns of bodycam footage and viral cop videos. It's a really good discussion.
Any time I’m at McDonald’s or something and a cop is behind me in the drive through I try to pay for there meal gotta take care of the people that take care of us

What’s fun is riding with a different city in plain cloths. They meet another unit at Perkins. I try to pay. “Your money is no good here” I tell them I would get in trouble, I need to pay, have a receipt. *quietly off to side*. I noticed the Officers tossed in (at least) a $5 tip on a $10 free meal. What’s wrong with that? Some cities it’s ok. Others…
Coffee other than coffee shops. The cup costs more than coffee.
The dog eating nuts. We need more context. From her driving when leaving. The ticket was necessary. And a 2nd. I love my dog. It follows from her departure she likely was not safe blowing a stop sign, in school zone. Were kids there? During hours kids are normally crossing? I will NEVER do another Police Escort *unless cross traffic blocked*. People are idiots. They pull over, squad passes. Some try to pull in like they intend to draft the squad car. There I am in +9000 lb ambulance trying to avoid them. I am lit up like Christmas. Front siren deafening Officers in squad car ahead. What does driver do when they realize? Panic stop. People lives are more important than dogs.
IMO. “I realize you are worried, scared. But if you crash your dog might not get seen. No ticket if you slow down drive carefully to vet”. You saw her pull out, not looking.
This comment made my day 😁 God bless you brother
If you aren't leaving the station and are just doing administrative work, do you still have to wear a body cam? Or is it more of a when you have your uniform on you have to have the cam on?
At our department it was considered part of the uniform. I also think from a leadership standpoint, if you're going to require officers to where it the whole time they are on duty they should do it themselves.
huh? they need to wear body camera inside the station? Sgt. Grey do wear them when he's on patrol
Most of the time there are cameras everywhere in a station so it wouldn't be necessary. But the general rule of thumb is if you're on duty as a sworn officer you should have a bodycam on since you could be called at any moment to do LEO duties like responding to a 911 call or other emergency. It shows a lot about an agencies culture if all sworn personnel aren't prepared to do more than sit at a desk.
I used to sneak the police discount for cops and sometimes they would notice and tell me to charge them full price.
These guys ever do any Brooklyn 99 reacts?
We did two! Here is the first one czcams.com/video/hhBUzLjUX0M/video.html
@@OnlyCops Excellent. For a serious episode there's also the episode where Rosa Diaz quit the force after the whole George Floyd incident.
They were in the station thats why he had no bodycam
The policy at my department was that if you were on duty you had to have your entire uniform on, which included your bodycam. It's not the end of the world, but just a small detail
What episode is that?
Seaon 1 episode 13
cmon guys its a show yes they will miss many a lot of law related stuff, but somethings they need to do intentionally to make the show entertaining also
I have no issue with it at all! I actually think it's a pretty good show and is WAY better than most in its genre. We do this just to make sure people don't get misconceptions about policing 😁
tbh purposely upping the charges on the scam artist guy was kind of pissy
The best justice would be the guy having the charges thrown out and a easy lawsuit against the officer. Clear and cut entrapment.
Entrapment would require that the officers setup the conditions for the offense, technically the victim did and the suspect could have just paid foe the food and there would have been no offense/arrest.
Though I'm with you that it's a lame charge it would absolutely stick and I'm not one to take the side of ol dine a dash dude as someone who used to work in restaurants. There is a special place in hell for those kind of people
@OnlyCops That's not how entrapment works. It would be the officer pushing you do something illegal. Such as stealing more food than you already had. Also, her clearly knowing it wouldn't be paid for is also theft. It's implied that she ordered the dessert and took it for herself. That's mutiple charges against the officer
Can cops have knives in general? (seems odd if they couldn't) If so which ones the norm for your area?
Having a knife was fine but it was a utility tool as opposed to a push blade which is intended for fighting. Our regs were that they could no be visible. It's legal to have them, it's just frowned upon and or against general orders/uniform policy.
@@OnlyCops Weird so mag dumping a person who is a threat is fine but no stabby stabby......lol?
Guys, please react to season 5 episode 3 when a new rookie stopped the car with the blood in the trunk and it was inadmissible as they stopped the car with no probable cause
Would be better seeing you guys react to en Entire episode.
We started just doing the whole episode is later videos 😊
Regarding that you have not charged the kid. You just don't know. You don't have the cristal ball that tells you if you helepd the kid or if that kid would harm someone again. In my county we believe in resocialization and not punishment. Does it always work? No! But In most cases it does. So even if this went wrong in your case, In my books you made the right decision. Don't punish yourself.
Because if we go down that "what if" road and that in the sense that someone can or could do something bad to another person then we all would have to to jail for ever jist becauset here is the chance that this could happen.
You might not agree but maybe you get my point.
I appreciate the prospective and kind words. My feelings flip on the situations from time to time but your comments here definitely help mend my being upset about it
I believe the Rookie had a few officers they used to help with realism on the show. Some of the stuff of course was done for TV sake, to make it funny or fun but they say they are trying to be as realistic as possible.
This is definitely up there with one of the more realistic shows about policing especially in the bodycam era.
@@OnlyCops oh for sure. y’all should react to lethal weapon from 2016. Not the old one. It would be amusing because of how much I could point out without even being LEO that’s violations 😂
Talking about free rent, in a highly sought after area with an epic house. And thats not considered favortism?
THAT'S WHAT I'M SAYING!
I get it that police officer shoould not and can't expect money as a gift put little things like coffee? I can't take money gifts either in my job, I am not american and I work in the social/medical sector within my country, but something like a candy bar or a coffee is ok. I would not get trouble for it and I would not even think to treat one person better over another just because one offered me coffee and the other person did not. Have to say IDK how it is with the police in my country, but I am almsot sure it's the same. And I can't say they treat people different because of a coffee.
But laws in countrys are different, I understand that, of course. 🙂
Policing is such a particularly sensitive spot due to the power given to them over others in certain situations, though I definitely think it is a gray area, I still lean towards a zero tolerance policy on accepting gifts outside of food. It's too easily abused in government and I really think it should apply to more parts of our government
I have a scene for you guys to react too I think it's internal affairs 3x1 or 3x2
You should do season 2 episode 11 pleaseee
We will add it to the list!

Can you do an episode where Chen and Bradford are dating?
I believe we are going to do the whole series if possible
Had a cop job offer to me years ago, they had been talking with me bout it for a while, I turned it down, they asked me why? So my answer was that I'm to honest and that I would treat everyone equal and wouldn't have favoritism and if caught speeding I expect a ticket like anyone else, after that answer I never heard from them again 😇👍
If that didn't make them want you more than it was a good thing you passed on it
Sh!t on that spirit!!!
Can you please do Chicago pd reactions
We can add it to the list!
@@OnlyCops awesome I’ve always wanted cops to watch the show if your thinking of watching an eposide I would recommend watching a season 9 ep
