I was feeling overwhelmed by my 2017 goals and in this video I love how you broke your goals down by quarters and have a next actions list. My sincerest thanks for all you do Kara!

I love the idea of quarterly goals. I've never been someone who can stick to a yearly goal, or to have consistent motivation throughout the year. I think breaking up my goals into small goals that can be accomplished in three months will really help me :)
You are so inspiring to me. I just can't get enough of looking at your gorgeous notebook. I love when you do flip throughs. This is definetly my faveorite video to watch every single month. Sometimes I wish we got weekly flip throughs. Lol.
For 2017 I have decided to start doing a word of the month (better for me; I am an outta sight, outta mind so I got keep it small), and you and the tribe have been a huge help to me. So excited to kick off this year with a plan for the first time with a bujo, especially since Baby #1 is on it's way. Huge year for me.

Recently ran into this concept for the first time-had never heard of it and I was captivated by it. I have been watching multiple videos trying to absorb and wanted to let you know that your's are finally getting it there for me. I am so excited to get started...I work at home, in an unorganized fashion for way too many hours in a disorganized home with a clipboard that sits next to me with millions of sticky notes which is my current method of migrating tasks. Thank you for your easy to understand and comprehensive videos, all of those pieces are starting to come together.
I bought a planner last month in efforts of being excited to start Jan fresh and i haven't kept up with the planner at ALL! I'm super planner oriented and concerned why I haven't been able to stay on task and realized watching your video I need the BULLET JOURNAL! I saw this method before but didn't want to take the time to complete a full journal however I have BEEN doing it because I actually take more time making my on personal lists verses what's already organized in the planner.
BULLET JOURNAL here I come and thank you for sharing....this is very similar to what I was looking for to be stress free

I made a spread called 20 things before I'm 20! It's kinda like a bucket list that I want to get done before I'm 20! Really love it🎈
You said in your hello 2017 that you wrote down words that inspire you, right? Perhaps your word should be "inspire."
Your journal is beautiful! I've been keeping journals for many years and when I go back and look at them I see how much they have changed (how much I have changed) and it's really fun!

Awesome! I'm starting my first bujo in January and am super excited. It's really just going to be the collections part of it because I have a separate planner and don't really need two.
If you're going to continue using a journal for a new year, you could always dedicate a page to announce the new year with something artsy. Then you can do the new year on the following page, using the old key and index, or make a new index following the announcement page.

your big goals divided into quarters inspired me to make a weekly goal that is kept in one page. still kinda afraid to step into big, yearly goals, but i think weekly is fine especially if i keep them in one place. so, i hope you don't mind!

Looove your videos. Have you ever thought of getting a hobonichi? It's a bit more regimented than a plain bujo but you can definitely use it in that way. I think you'll LOVE it for watercolours & fountain pens!

My brain requires me to make a fresh one because I have OCD or something. Certain things I just have to do and one of those is keeping things properly in their correct groupings. If the month doesn't end on the correct page than I will re copy everything into a whole new planner. I'm trying the bullet journals but it's proving stressful

I have decides to start a bullet journal for 2017 cause I love to make pages look very organised and have something to keep neat. I always do this with my notes for school, but since I have my last classes in januari this would be great to relax and scribble my ideas in. I also really want to write down my memories. So I want to make a bullet journal with a bit planning (not so much i was thinking just the monthly spreads and weekly logs and for daily logs sort of little diary idea. But I do a lot of song writing and I also want to put all my ideas and lyrics and inspiration things in there. How am I gonna fit this all in there. I was thinking to dedicate the back of the book to music, but I like the idea of just going through it as time and ideas come. But at the same time I don't want it all over the place. Hahaha so now I'm trying to figure out what will work for me. Any advice? I love yours!

What adhesive you use to secure printables into your journal? I worry about the pages being warped , bubbly or thick. Yours looks perfect thought- I didn't even realize the December tracker was a printable until you pointed it out! Thanks!
I think it's a mental thing because with the index and being able to tab or whatever, even spine labels - why wouldn't you just continue with the same journal?
But I see how someone would want a "fresh start" for a new year.

Been trying to find a way to organise my life as I am sick of forgetting things and being lazy about everything but trying to find a way I can stick to has been proving difficult. However, after seeing this video I think this will be best for me as I can take each day as it comes while still thinking of the future. I am going to be purchasing the notebook but is it lined, dotted or plain that you use? I am not sure which to go for.
I think she uses the dotted one. Personally I like that one the best, because you can use the pages however you want... like with lined ones I always feel a bit restricted, I don't like skipping more than one row and I just am not a big fan of those visually. Plain ones however could be a bit more work, for example if you want to write and would like it to look clean and not have the lines go upwards or downwards you would need to draw lines first and so on. So in the end it depends on how you want to use it and how much work you want to put in it... and of course what's the most visually appealing for you.
I love your journal! it is so pretty. as i am not bullet journaling i am wondering how you guys use this journal on a day to day basis? how do you keep up with logging everything? this system seems to need so much care? but perhaps it is just a personal character thing. i would spend either the whole day playing with it or doing nothing in it for weeks. thanks Julia :)

Kara are you still doing a memories page or has it kind of morphed into your new gratitude layout? I need to make more time for doodles. I love the new gratitude page. It seems like it's less pressure in having to come up with something daily.
