The cartrige is the equivalent of a 32 acp in terms of power. They killed a lot of people with this 'anemic' cartrige during ww1. For a gun made more than a hundred years ago, it's a beauty and still in very good shape. Haters gona hate no matter what you show them.
true. depending on powder you can actually load these to 210 foot pounds and still be well under the rated 18000 psi. the original loading of both this and the 1873 11mm french revolver were so anemic for what the gun was actually built for thats how they got the reputation for being so weak. the french 1873 can also be loaded to 320 foot pounds at 12000 psi which is approaching 9mm power level. definitely not weak guns at all.

When I played Amnesia, I mistook this for a Nagant revolver and I thought: "why the hell would the french carry nagants?"
