When I watched this it had 110 views but only 20 including myself gave it a thumbs up ….. commenting on vlogs ain’t for every one I get that ….. but this guys content is amazing and the time and effort it takes to make us this is very time consuming……. Hit the thumbs up guys . I for one thank you personally for keeping me entertained on boring night shifts . Also for making me so hungry . All the best ray 👍🏻
I give it a thumbs up before I even watch it……..guaranteed every one he does will earn it.
I agree. I've been posting this same kind of comment on a lot of my favorite vlogs lately. I don't understand why they don't hit the Like. Maybe they forget or maybe they don't know how much it helps the Channel.
Of the channels I watch, perhaps the "outdoors theme", I regularly notice the views to likes, is about 10% likes. I've not formulated an observance of views to comments. CZcams will know the answers.
Some people watch it on tv’s,I’m not sure if you can give a thumbs up on the tv
Well said sir 👏
Easily the best-produced and -edited videos in the outdoor genre.
Nothing says exhausted like throwing a wet sock against a Norwegian rock! Great work Andy. All the best 👍🙏❤️
LOL!!
I have been waiting for part 2 for a week 😂 Finally it's here 👍
Hope its worth the wait :)
Hey Andy! You guys should consider using a kayak paddle for larger lake crossings when it's windy. Bring both a single blade and a kayak blade. That's how the Baird brothers do it.
I have an Ally canoe and a kayak combi paddle that I bought to face strong wind. It's inefficient. My 2.40m paddle is way too short because of the gunnels, 2.70 is better. But paddling one meter away from the body is much harder and the Ally DR canoe have quite a bit of rocker. Paddling one meter away from the body in that type of canoe mostly make it turn rather than moving ahead. They are paddling with voyager paddles, it would be more efficient with ottertails, they would get deeper water that is moving less. At least that's my experience. They also have the 16ft model, thoses canoes are nothing else than giant wing in the wind, keeping my 15ft canoe front wind may already be quite challenging.
Canoe is way more fun and comfort
Brilliant Andy, as the trip wore on you started to grow into it, so much time out there that you started to become a part of it, I really envy this, journey of a life time for me this one, nice one mate.
I can’t wait to see what’s going on in your journey Andy With you and Simon I’m just gonna have to wait for about an hour. Thank you for taking us all on your beautiful journey
Amazing video, all the different angles and the time you guys putting into the editing, just amazing! 🔥🔥🔥
What a cracking trip and a stunning area to camp 😃🏕️ Great vid.
Enjoyed watching Simon second video, and now I'm watching Andy second video thanks Andy and Simon for both your videos, cheers Andy and Simon 👍👏
If I tried canoeing, I’d get rushed down the river and never be able to make it to shore and/or get stuck and never able to leave! 😂. Glad to see the two of you having such a good time together, especially after the last 2-3 years.
Commenting because I love this channel and keep watching the same video out of excitement lol now I'm documented lol
Andy, I love watching your camping trips! It makes me feel as if I'm there too. It's the next best thing to being there, because it takes me away from life here. Blessings to you and Simon. Looking forward to the next video!
You looked exhausted after that long paddle, big respect to you for keeping filming, moving the camera around etc. Well done Andy.
You do understand that this whole thing is about filming it?
I would have had to turn around and learn Swedish.
49:33 had me laughing so hard! Love watching you two together!
It's the second one XD
Many thanks for taking us all along to a wonderful place. Great piece of work and one that you must be proud of.
Simply inspiring! Awesome getaway! What an epic adventure by two very humble simple guys!👍
Wow Andy, Just Wow. I can only admire your grit and determination at crossing that lake. You sir are a legend. I was literally willing you across that body of water. I must also say thank you for taking me and a lot of your other viewers to places that I/we will never encounter in our lives. Also I felt like I was watching a clip from " Blazing Saddles"🤠....at one point....🤣🤣 I think you were only missing the Beans?...(If ya know, Ya know..)😂 Good on ya sir👏🏻👏🏻And Thankyou🙏🏻
Brilliant Andy. Thank you so much for taking us with you. I’ve paddled against the wind and it really isn’t fun. Looking forward to part three!! Atb Paul.

Love following your channel
And as we live in Kent it’s great to see your take of Kent. 🙏😊
So relaxing to watch❤️❤️❤️
I've only done kayaking once this year for the first time, inflatable ones and camping on islands on a lake in Co. Roscommon Ireland, the water was so rough lol
This looks amazing though love you channel
Loved the video, both yours and Simon’s, you both needed a vacation after your vacation.
My kind of adventure. What a beautiful place!
Certainly is a rocky place. You'll never forget the tough paddling, nor the wind or waves that made it so! Some beautiful camps and awesome wildlife! 👍😎🇨🇦📷🌊🔥🌲

Always love the vid. I really needed this this week.
Great videos, and an excellent adventure. I discovered your channel thru Simon's channel, and the two of you have become some of my favorite channels. Thank you for sharing your experiences.
Thanks for the video. I appreciate the effort all around. Looking fwd to the next one.
Love the you talk, love the way you cook, places like Norway suits you perfectly.
What a great trip! Really interesting terrain. But my back and shoulders are sore from watching you guys paddle into the wind!
Quite the adventure you had there. Thanks for sharing it. Looking forward to more too. Be well. 😉
Loving this trip away Andy, I feel your pain, I've only canoed down the river Wye for 90 miles, that near killed me, I can only imagine what this is like!
Great stuff, like always. Thanks!
I am glad that scurvy is being held at bay.
You guys are built tough! I'm loving all your videos!
As always fantastic outstanding video I love watching your videos and I watching you guys and keep up with the fantastic work
Great trip you two looking forward to more
That was some strenuous paddling! I'm relieved to see you both smiling at the end of this segment.
It sure was James, thanks.. gets even tougher next time haha
Andy, When you guys first started this journey I thought to myself, Hmmm, if I remember correctly, Andy is not all that experienced in canoeing. I think I even remember you saying it's why you didn't go on the Scotland trip. You're doing a super job and keeping up and keeping on, getting super experience in that canoe. Great content as usual!
Stunningly beautiful, I could definitely go for some of that. Fantastic content as usual. Just good watching. 👍
Hi Andy well My opinion is the hardships on your trip are worth it all the amazing sites and those reindeer are beautiful.
Oh - I saw freeze dried food by Lars Monsen there. Complete legend! Crossed Canada alone with a team of dogs, for one thing. Iditarod several times. Lot's of tv shows to this day, here in Norway. He's like you guys, but started a couple of decades ago.
I have been on force marches before where you stop, sit down, put your poncho on over yourself and your pack, and lean back. That is the camp.
What stunning scenery I wrote on Simons vid saying the same . Them Hammocks your using look very comfy . Looking forward to the next installment .
Sweden and Norway make awesome knives and have amazing scenery.Your filming is top notch and enjoy watching. Thanks👍
Thanks troy
I love your channel Andy ❤️
I look forward to every single episode
Keep up the good work my friend
It doesn't matter how good a paddler you are, wind is the enemy. You did great going over the lake, and the early swift/rapid section even if stuck showed willing.
That section was exceptionally scenic.
Paddle smarter, not harder and use a double-bladed kayak paddle.
Awesome Andy mate. That crossing looked relentless! Cracking transmission. Those pancakes! 😍
You're doing a awesome job Andy 👏
Wow, Andy, you looked tired at the start of this vlog! Such beautiful scenery, thanks for bringing us along! Cheers from Houston Texas.
Another great video. Thanks for sharing.
what a beautiful area! I bet that was a blast!
Andy, you approved your paddling.
Nice trip, and lots of fun, possibly because of the hard labour.
Filming and scenery were incredible! BRAVO!
Brilliant stuff Simon and Andy, shame you kept missing out on the huts but the good old twig stoves save the day and are just as good.
I've been watching you for a while but just noticed how sweet a smile you have. Love your videos, keep up the good work. Stay safe out there. Oh I'm texting from USA Texas, the lone star State. God Bless and keep you.
Wonderful to see you back in Scandinavia agian! BR Mats
Absolutely love you and Simons videos great trip even with the portages.
Love the hat btw Andy, I went to Australia this year and got me a Akubara hat it’s a fur hat like your love it
I was waiting for the video, part 2. hugs from Brazil
Looks a fantastic trip with stunning scenery. I'm very jealous - I've just winched my canoe up to the ceiling of my garage.
Thank you so much for sharing your adventure* I am loving it :-)
Just finished Simon's series, now looking forward to yours. Love the art in the filmmaking.
Awesome thanks 👍😊
Great trip and fun despite the slog Andy. You guys seem to be enjoying it.
Great job for the both of you. I know you must be tired from all of the padding and filming too. Wishing the both of you some rest and a great meal.
Very appreciated, mate
Finally got around to catching up with episode 2 - you captured it well mate! The exhaustion, the scran, the lack of fish and the ‘venting’ 😂
Great stuff Andy.
nice to see new video❤
Last week's was fantastic!
Can't wait for this one....too bad I'm waiting till Saturday!✌️🍻
Cheers from the Prairies of Canada 🇨🇦
Thanks :) enjoy it Saturday buddy
Those words at the end - so full of innocent optimism.
Have to say, you look absolutely knackered on this trip. Better get some hiking in, get yourself fit! Haha. Great video though and looks a great place for proper adventure. Cheers!
Massive thumbs up for another great video 👍
31:10 Simon: that looks like a spot for the big baits
You should pack an emergency poncho, Froggtoggs used to make a good one, they’re very light weight and pack able.
As a bicyclist, 30-40 mile rides, I carry a cut down one in my bike bag just in case.
Very windy in more ways than one😄 Great vid!
Hi just watched when you made a video on the Martello Tower in isle of grain the car park you parked in my house is right opposite love watching your videos
Really like you both. But together awesome trips you both do. What a challenge. But awesome times and memories
Great Video! ❤️
First mouse !!! Great !!What a beauty !
Time to get the popcorn out 🍿
Great video! Takes some time to catch up but great content! Good to see you enyoing it with Simon, a fart in the woods!
Looked Gruelling but great to watch! .. those supplies, Plopp and Rag Kaka look like a match made in heaven! Ha. Lol
Man this looks as if it was a superb, rewarding, albeit tiring trip. Scenery is amazing.
Exactly that :) wish I had more time to take in the beauty
Another amazing vid !! Never seen you look tired before 😮
That shot of the worktop at 56:08 would make a salable poster.
Thank Gawd,, I am retired from these shananagheens! Lunch and a nap in the wood is good enough for me.
Andy,
You mentioned the brutal conditions on your three hour crossing. Here are a few suggestions:
1. Get an earlier start. Make a simple breakfast with no clean up and get going.
2. Have you considered a tandem canoe. Much better into the wind with two paddlers and faster.
3. We saw no white caps, so couldn’t have been that brutal?
Still we do enjoy watching. Takes us back to memories of our many times around the Bowron Lake Canoe Circuit in British Columbia.
Enjoy!!
