This guy is PURE LIFE
He keeps laughing for no reason.
@@ronschaffer5959 The guy had so many drugs that it's a miracle he can put together a complete sentence. When he actually does.
He’s a real pure musician it’s in his being and so humble and loving ❤🔥🔥❤️
he is GREAT@@ThompterSHunson
More like pure pervert..Wonder if him and Mick Jagger still have sex with each other?????
I love the camaraderie he talks about between them and other musicians. What a cool guy.
Keith is still such a riff master. Hope he lives forever. ✌🏼
That was one of the most authentic and interesting interview on Fallon ever. Keith is a living legend
I liked how when Keith was talking about Charlie, he addressed the drummer. And then the lemon tree! Man, this was so much better than a mere interview. So cool.
Keith is so friggin' cool. God Bless You, Man.
That was an incredibly cool thing that Jimmy did at the end with the lemon tree. I think Keith has seen it all, but he seemed genuinely surprised and delighted by that. The Keith Richards' lemon tree will live on!
LOVED that too❤
Yes I was really touched by that too.
Also, That how clear and conversational Keith was able to be, too..
We've all seen ones where no one , not even Keith, knew what he was trying to mumble out as he attempted to answer the hosts questions!
Bwahahah!
No tonight and the interview Jimmy did with them over in England, was clear too!
That was when they released the first track Angry.
Anyway what a cool thing to do. Especially now that he has it growing in the Fallon family backyard!
Wow he and girls could have a Rock n Roll Lemonade Stand!
Serving up a variety of treats with Keith Richards R&R Lemons!
Like lemon Drinks hard for adults and soft for others
Lemon Squares, Pies, Tarts, Muffins, Breads and even popsicles!
Such a cool Rock n Roll Lemon legacy to have!
Too bad Zep's "THE LEMON SONG" isn't one of the Stones song's, eh?!
Bwahahah!
😘🍋🍆🤛😮😊😂
Anyway bab'eh!
Rock n Roll will never Die!

@@katherinehunter9526🤣🤣🤣 you beat me to The Lemon Song!! I was half expecting Keith to say, 'Ere, lemme give your lemon a squeeze!" 🤣

Oh...yeah bab'eh the
"Hurdy Gurdy Dirty Guy"...yes thought of the LEMON SONG immediately....

Oh Yeah bab'eh it would have been the 1st words I would have said to Jimmy and Keith's about their "juicy Lemon Tree's!"

💞🍋🍌🍋...🙀😎
Keef thought it was a gift 😂 what it should have been ❤
What an adorable man. Keith is so sweet, so kind and so honest. What you see is what you get.
Keith always comes up with these quirky off the cuff remarks 😂 Keith has survived so much I'm glad he got his act together and is still here
Same mate
He also came up with some of the greatest opening licks in rock n roll music's history.
He's definitely still on the Booze and good on him too
Right on dude

"A band exists on what it does." A lesson in doing anything in life.
How does Richards look so good? His teeth, his personality, everything and he refers to the early 60s like it was yesterday. Such an inspiring and positive interview, especially the part about playing in small venues and his humble nature.
Ton's of money and sex.
lmao! @@zamiadams4343
@@zamiadams4343with much younger women. Keeps you going.
The teeth aren't real but the rest of him is so real it makes up for it.

A true legend ,and icon ! Down to earth it as well god bless you keith!🙏🏾.
'Hackney Diamonds' is an amazing album. Has a truly classic sound to it. The track, 'Whole Wide World' would be a gigantic hit...if the music industry was what it used to be.
And isn't that a sad sad commentary on what's happened to music as it once was.......Once upon a time...........???
Yes this is a truly an amazing album. You just gotta love the fact that Mick & Keith are 80, and Ronnie is right on their heels, and yet they’re showing people how rock n’ roll is done. Way to go guys. Keep kicking all our asses!
I'm an early to mid 60s Stones guy, and Keith was always so cool. He looked cool, he wrote cool songs, he played cool guitar. A genuine star from the beginning!
You look at the word cool in the dictionnary and you'l seel a picture of Keith Richards.
How is this guy still alive? A modern miracle
This was so fun to watch. I will always be a Rolling Stones fan and Keith Richards is still so cool. Jimmy can sing with anyone! What a multi talented guy he is.
Some few years ago I have been to a Rolling Stones concert in Zurich together with my daughters at that time age 18 + 30. They still talk about this coolest and best concert they have ever been.
Charlie Watts was the one who kept The Rolling Stones sane. A very kind guy and humble too. He'll be missed. RIP Sir
No reason to retire all that energy and creativity. The Rolling Stones continue to have an amazing life. Very cool.🎶🎶👏🏻👏🏻
I love Jimmy’s lemon tree story. So sweet. Awesome interview with Keith Richards!!!
It's funny to watch this and remember Fallon's classic monologue in the movie "Almost Famous" where Fallon is playing the manager and says, "If you think Mick Jagger is still gonna be out there trying to be a rockstar at age 50,...you are sadly, sadly mistaken."
I wish he would've brought that scene up with Keith! Hilarious.
This conversation is incredible! With a fantastic ending. Lemon tree planted from Keith Richards lemon!!
My goodness...Richards is the real SOUL person in the Roling Stones 'adventure'. Bless him, he remained HUMAN
Great interview with Keef. The lemon tree story was one of the best I’ve ever heard. Keef looks and sounds great, so full of life and great parables… he always leaves you wanting more from him. Hence the Lemon Tree 🙏🏼
What a beautiful man! Surviving & Thriving is glorious. He looks like the most excellent elf in fantasy fiction.
As the band's Musical Director, Keith would rent a room with a piano and spend hours teaching Charlie, Bill and Brian 2,000 Light Years From Home, or whatever. His contribution to popular music cannot be overstated.
The Stones couldn't get "2,000 Light Years from Home" to work, until Brian Jones created the cool mellotron riff, old story.
Keith Richard is a genuine icon.
yes
It's Richards
I love how Keef is always conscious of the band and interacts with them even from far across the stage.
Love how keith looks to the band regularly. Its as if he feels those guys are musicians and so his people. Loved it!
Keith is speaking truth...bands start off playing in little rooms and it grows from there!
This man is pure happiness , contagious, just love for him
So different from his younger days. He was so serious and confrontational back then. Aging has made him a true gentle English bloke.
The band should receive the Kennedy center Honors next year. Their impact on American culture for decades cannot be overstated.
John Lennon also played on the 1968 Rock 'n' Roll Circus special that was only released fairly recently 👍
That’s Awesome!!!! 👍
I’ve been able to see The Rolling Stones in concert three different times and they always put on a Great show!
So glad he mentioned Brian Jones
And credits Brian Jones with coming up with the name of the band no less.
Legendary doesn't come close to what these guys are. Respect
I'm so glad Keith is still here with us :-) Peace
Looking at his hands, some of his fingers don’t even bend anymore, and yet he plays that guitar like no tomorrow. Big props. 👊🏻
He plays in Open G tuning and that makes it easier. He's always played in Open G and it's the key to his sound
@PlayerToBeNamedLater1973 He really didn't start that open g stones sound until around 1969.
He played every song in standard tuning up until about 67-68 and even then the 1st open tunings He used for jumping jack flash and street fighting man was open e.
And the way he plays in open g with 3 fingers, one being the bar and the other 2 the extention and repeating the same thing over and over isn't easy on your fingers. In my opinion playing in standard tuning feels much more natural.
Keith doesn't use his fingers. He plays telepathically.
Dr Hu
@@smackfoot21any idea what brand of guitar he was playing?
Nothing cooler than an old musician. Theyve lived through everything and they're still kicking. Like someone else said, hope Keith lives forever!
Keith Richards has defied modern medical science for the last 50 or 60 years, and he's
still trucking forward. Remarkable man, and likely the writer and composer for most of
the Stones big hits. Keep well my friend :)
I need to start doing drugs!!
@@mistersniffer6838 Exactly right, may as well be happy, and live long :)
It's curious how Jimmy works... The more he likes - in this case, completely adore - the guest, the better interviewer he is. He is simply perfect in this one! And hands down to The Legend Amongst Other Legends of Rock, Mr. Keith Richards: ther embodiement of coolness!
It is said that Johnny Depp based his Jack Sparrow character on Kieth Richards. After watching this interview, it clearly shows.
It's kinda crazy that Keef is more together now than he's been since his teens. Love the man dearly.
That was an all around kick ass interview .. it had all the feels , all the cool inside stories and funny tales and a damn legend of rock in the building who’s way more cool just by walking across the set early lol what an absolute delight that was 😊😊😊😊 thank you .. and truly the whole lemon tree thing makes me wanna hug you .. serious how touching is that 😮🥰even Kieth thought so !
Keith, so high love him !! He is the same like 60 years ago!!! I was 13 years and now I am 72!! And the Stones are there all ready!! Yessss this is the best band of the 60 !!!!
Don't forget the "Dirty Mac." John Lennon, Eric Clapton, Kieth Richards and Mitch Mitchell, performing Yer Blues live, and even more obscure Brian Jones playing saxophone on You Know My Name, Look Up My Number, the flip side of the Let it Be single.
Keith is so loveable and a real giant of rock n roll
Musician men age SO well. Better than any other men. Keith Richards is yet one more example of my decades long observations. 🎶❤️🎶
Everytime someone smokes a cigarette, Keith Richards gains an extra year of life
Apart from Ozzy...everyone except Ozzy. I think we can agree he's a walking corpse. A cool walking corpse, but barely alive.
True, but Keith looked like this when he was 30. Gotta love' im!
Not only is Keith Richards a killer guitar player, but he's also a very nice guy! He genuinely looked happy to see Jimmy's lemon tree.
Many years ago, I met Keith at the Hard Rock Cafe in NYC. Back then WNEW-FM would broadcast live there, usually in October. One day, Scott Muni had interviewed Keith, then afterwards came downstairs and announced that he was buying drinks for everyone in the bar, then sat down at the bar. He took time to talk to anyone who approached him. We talked for a few minutes, and what a whacky sense of humor he has. A really nice man.
Thanks Keith , a great men in music , I love The Rolling Stones , Keith we love you and your music super , fan Henri Put belgium 🇧🇪 👍
I love this interview because I like to hear the way that Keith Richards came up with the name for the band . . . The Rolling Stones! 😉👌🏼Sweet
Used to be a Fallon fan but got off due to circumstances in my life and I gotta say Jimmy Fallon really really adore KEITH RICHARDS!!!!

It just amazes me how they’re still performing, age definitely doesn’t defy them even in their 80s . ROCK ON 🤘 ❤🇨🇦
He got emotional right at the end, aww bless him
It's freaking incredible that after all the partying that Keith has done in his life that he is still going as strong as he ever was and still sharp at his age.I'm 61 and I can only pray that I am in as good a shape as he is in and Mick seems to get younger everytime I see him.Rolling Stones Forever!!!
😂 62 / 63 with the Beatles... my birth time 😂 Love Keith
“A band exists on what it does” & start up bands start out doing small venues. Going back to the roots of it all. If weren’t there back then. Wouldn’t be here today. Love & respect his way of/& reason. He’s Very grateful where he’s at in stating this. I love it! And Jimmy’s tree. Such love & respect for his idols. Very very cool! Threw Keith for a loop. So much respect n love. Between these guys. Loved this interview! Congrats, on new album. Aces! 🔥❤️👍
Oh gosh, THIS is gonna be a STONES day❤❤❤
Thank you Keith for the many gems you have given us over the years
I saw them perform once up front like 2 feet away. Wildly entertaining.
I love the way he quietly laughs
Love Keith & his cool hat; such a gentleman!! ♥️
Amazing band like the Beatles pure technical talent
A gift from God.
They had time to learn it. No computers, tablets, smartphones, internet, or social media.,
What a cool guy! The one and only Keith Richard!
s
Fab interview! Love the tracks Keith drops on this, We Love You and Dandelion, on which the Beatles play. One of the first singles I ever bought, back in the day.
Great album and well done to Keith and the guys and also thanks to Jimmy for the exposure and to this great legend of rock too!
We love keith Richard

The Riff master…Keeeef!
This is awsome so much fun from the very Keith Richard talks and looks same as in th old days!! Congratulations on their new album and Jimmy Fallon's' lemon tree a real hit!!
i love you Keith Richards, thanks for everything man
I love hearing Keith talk, he’s a great storyteller. The stones have seen it all
When the Rolling Stones had a North American leg of their World Tours, they always would start off their tour in Toronto, playing small venues, unannounced, for a week or so, to check out their sound and get everything right soundwise. Later, When the SARS pandemic happened starting in Toronto, the Rolling Stones headlined "SARSSTOCK" a concert at Downsview Park... incredible set! We're very proud to see Keith and the band thriving with this new album, and this interview, Jimmy, was one of your best ever! The Lemon Tree!
I’ve loved him for 55 years! ❤️
Big props to the legendary Keith Richards of the ROLLING STONES! This cat is one of my all-time favorite guitar players and rock n' roll personalities. It's such a joy for me to see and hear this iconic rock star still doing his thang! These cats live for this shit!
As a longtime blues student and purist, I was almost moved to tears upon hearing how the Stones got their band name from the great Muddy Waters. I first heard about this from Mick, but it always moves me emotionally. It amazes me that these older wealthy British rockers can still put down some funky Southside Chicago blues!
That's what inspired them to become musicians.
Long live the Stones and RIP Charlie Watts.
The late great UK musician Lonnie Donnegan brought the blues to Britain from the USA with his LP called Atlantic Blues and the Stones learned about the Blues from that album and when those Stones Blues tracks appeared in the USA then the USA finally woke up to the Blues treasures that were in their own country…….. Lonnie Donnegan was that vital musical catalyst
@colinguthrie4634
Yeah, sure! And this English dude also created the blues in the cotton fields and shacks somewhere in England singing about his experiences of oppression, hot sex, drinking, getting his boogie on, and dancing up a storm with all of these soulful and rhythmically talented Caucasian English folks in the juke joints of London! 😆 🤣 😂 😹
He wrote the song Rolling Stone correct?! I've NEVER heard of this big NOBODY that you're talking about, and I've never heard of the Stones talking about him or covering his SO-CALLED original blues!
Stop trying to steal Black American art and culture pally!
@colinguthrie4634
NEVER HEARD OF HIM! This comment is totally ludicrous! If this unknown catalyst was so important to The Rolling Stones as you claim, then why didn't Keith Richards mention him during this interview?!
If this English dude ripped off the true Black American blues musicians in the States and introduced the music to the Stones according to what you're claiming, the TRUE fact is that the Stones studied the history of the music and named their band after a Muddy Waters song and dedicated the last song on Hackney Diamonds to him! Where is Donnegan on this album?
I've read about Alex Koerner, a popular radio host introducing the TRUE blues to England.
Thank-you Dr. Richards for the continuous great ride! Rock on!!
Nobody can top Keith! Awesome man and musician!
Stones album titles are some of the best.
Yessa and purposely strong intros on each song, as per Keith.
Dirty Work's alternate title was Nineteen Stitches. 😁
Keith's so amazing! I Love seeing him interviewed!
Thank you Keith for give us timeless music
Im glad he mentioned Brian Jones
Steve Jordan … is such an incredible drummer. Happy to see him with d stones now
What an epic interview. Thank you 😊
I went to a Rolling Stones concert w/ my friend at the Siverdome in MICHIGAN to see Bridges to Babylon Main floor tickets and seen Mick Jagger. I yelled Mick Mick... He spoke to me Yeah!!!.with a raisedd hand. I never forget that... I LOVE THE ROLLING STONES.

He looks phenomenal. And his clarity is stunning. Rock on!!
Keith doesn’t get enough credit for being a brilliant songwriter.
This guy defines the word "cool". No way around it.
