Amazing job looks very nice
Wow, what a great tutorial! Thank you! Doing this weekend. ❤
Thanks! Glad you liked it.
That was so helpful. Thank you!
Glad you liked it!
Looks fantastic. I will try to make something like this for my terrace.
Sounds Exciting!
Did wood absorb any moisture from wet cement? I have a convern about that
Cool Furniture.
Thank you!
This will not hold long time no primer wood with wet where is the grid ?
I love this idea i need mines twice that height. Should I just maybe make the table taller or add legs.
I would say make it taller by cutting the lumbers longer.
Absolutely love the turn out. N thank u so much in sharing ur details I truly appreciate it. Will have to build this 🥰, May I ask what screw sizes did u use. ??
Sorry didn’t realize if it showed in the video n I missed it
Glad you liked it! I used 2-1/2" for the lumbers and 1" for connecting plywood to the lumbers.
That’s so awesome! What did you do in the cracks you had with the thin mix? I’m making a similar table and it’s been a nightmare to deal with all the cracks!
For me, the sides with the thick mixture ended up with minor cracks and once you apply the waterguard there'd be nothing to worry about. But the cements on the side with the thin mixture fell apart just recently, so I had to redo it.
what did you use to seal your table?
Waterguard. I show it in the video
Hows it held up and what does it weigh about?
It's pretty steady, wood base with cement cover. Don't really know the exact weight. It feels even less than 20 Ib.
what program are you using for the wood cuts?
It's Sketchup
This is so cool but curious as to how long it would last.
Thank you! It's been a year and it's working fine so far. But I've had some cement fall offs which I had to repaired.
wow amazing. Can I copy your work? This is so good.
Absolutely! Glad you liked it!
Is it still holding up after a year? This is incredible!
Thank you! The cement falls off occasionally so I've repaired some spots so far. But apart from that, it's been great!
Is it Microcemenent?
No this is regular. But that might be a better option
@@byfarnaz Turned out good either way so👏
@@Ihaveaboyfriend Thank you!
The table looks great I’d be interested to learn how durable it turns out.
Considering that only the equivalent of a veneer of cement was used I would hardly call it a concrete table.
It's durable, but it needs a good care as well. The durability also depends on the cement mixtures. The thinner ones tend to crack and fall off, while the thicker ones are more durable
How’s it holding up?
It’s pretty steady. Wood base with cement cover
@@byfarnaz Any cracking or it falling off?
@@AmeeyahWil Like I said in the video, the side with the thin mixture ended up with lots of cracks, so I had to redo that side. But the other sides with the thick mixture, ended up pretty well.
@@byfarnaz and this video was also 7 months ago so like I said I wanted to know how it was still holding up.
@@AmeeyahWil About three months ago, the cement on the side with the thin mixture (with cracks) started to fall off. So I had to take the whole cement off from that side and redo it with a thicker mixture. But the other sides still look pretty good after a year.
So its a cement table...... Concrete = cement + sand + aggregate.
try some chicken wire
