Hi messaged you the other day that I was settling in on the Soldano but I went ahead and bought your new ultimate variety pack to mess around with and the minute I got my hands on the voltage I knew that was the one for me. It very much reminds me of my Buddhas… But it’s more Voxy than the creamy Marshall gain which is fine. I love it. Just wanted to share. Thank you for the awesome ultimate voltage preset.
Thank you for featuring this one. It would have been an easy overlook and gone dusty with time but your description as a 'better AC30' got my attention and my primary workhorse presets are built around the AC 30 model. And you're spot on. I know the 2203 will get the lions share of attention but as an incredibly versatile foundational amp this is great. There is such a presence and added clarity in this one. Like the original model got a modern makeover.
Line 6 Helix original Amps are awesome, and offer us new colors on our sonic palette. Trivia: "A musician who plays the carillon is called a carillioneur." Wikipedia Great for getting a rich tone. 😁
Hi there, I´ve following you since pre-pandemic era and I´ve learned much about HX STOMP ever since. Your tutorials are great I don´t think I´ll need any more FX´s or Amps but, I will love to have the ROCKMAN version some day, then I will be the happiest HELIX owner in the Universe- Thanks a lot John and from Costa Rica cheers and as we say here... PURA VIDA
Cant wwit for the oblivion break down Mr Jason ive aleeady fed it to your template with a ratt pedal and is amazing cant wait for your fine tuning Happy Holidays
Great video, thanks! I notice that you have the Peak Reduction set at 3.5 on the LA Studio Comp, whereas more commonly you have it at 5 - 5.5. Why the difference here?
Thank you! It could be I was hitting the compressor a little harder on the input so I needed to adjust the Peak Reduction to get the desired amount :-)
Interesting. This amp is beautiful in the catalyst until you start pushing it. It just goes really crispy and horrible. Not sure if theres something wrong with it, or if its the speakers.
LITERALLY 3.5 was a bigger and more talked about update. Again, I like your channel, but you're falling into the trap of making more out of pretty much everything than it really is. Cry 'Wolf' long enough and eventually people stop believing the hype.
One of your best guitar tones yet ! would have missed this new amp model, Thanks.
Thank you and my pleasure :-)
Good stuff JS. Keep up the great work. Your videos always help the L6 community users so so much. God Bless.

I can see this working well with some of my band's Tom Petty covers like "American Girl" or "Running Down a Dream". Looking forward to using it.
Yeah I could see it working very well for that :-)
