In the US the candy brand Brachs used to have a pick and mix....bins full of different candies....choose what you wanted in the quantity you wanted....I haven't seen them in years.
yeah, they pretty much disappeared from grocery stores about 20 years ago.

Walmart owns Asda so yes it makes sense it's similiar to American stores. You can buy Asda George furniture online. It's super affordable and good quality

If you want a store more like asda you should go to Walmart, because Walmart owns asda. Target is its own company.
If she's in California, Walmarts are pretty terrible so Target may be a better comparison to the store she's talking about haha

You should come back during Christmas season! You would love the amount of Christmas decorations everywhere and there’s many huge inflatable outdoor decor. Sorry target wasn’t as thrilling

Not a fan of either. Target for pretty home items occasionally or random things, neither for clothes or most other items.
It's just that for us Europeans Walmart is so much different to what we have where as Target is just like a Sainsbury's or Asda.
I'm not a fan of Target either. They are not plus size friendly. If I do find my size the style isn't very satisfying.

It's so funny about the carts because the Ikea here the back wheels turn and don't at every other store. You have to pick up the cart to move it.

So happy to see you go around a Target. I worked at one for 12 years. ASDA is owned by Walmart so it is not the same as Target, except it is a department store with all sorts of stuff. Walmart sells guns and tobacco which Target doesn't. ASDA is a much nicer place than any American Walmart.
