@@isimikehinde5584100%, charging $70 for a campaign that lasts 5-6 hours roughly is ludicrous. It might be open combat missions, but these are the same freaking locations from Verdansk from MW19 for crying out loud!! This should’ve been a discounted DLC.

$70 is a lot for maps that should have been in MW2. Fixes to the game should have been done right rather than waiting on one studio to do them because IW didn't care about their fans at all.
It won't be fix, more like broken even more if history is to go by with Vanguard. Go check a YT channel called GUDPEXI, she posts daily the exploits and glitches of this game, they took Plunder and Lockdown away for weeks due to Battle Pass exploits, it's laughable. This patch won't fix the game, it's all tied to RADIANT, a 23 year old engine which originally was made by ID Software for Doom and Quake.

@@silky_smooth9475The last most recent Call of Duty that I played through was BO1 for PS3. Before that I played MW2.
I understand the subjective nature of nostalgia, but MW3 was released back in 2011. In my opinion, MW2 was the game that set the standard for the series in the future which was good. But to consider anything after COD4 to be nostalgic is so unreal to me. Just because of how different the games before MW2 were. MW2 was pretty much the baseline Call of Duty since! I messed around in the more modern titles with friends online but it doesn't hit the same.
In comparison, in 2011 I also got the Metal Gear Solid HD collection. This was a few years after I beat the first there games on PSX/2. Then I got around to playing MGS4 and MGO2.
I played the HD Collection and none of the games felt nostalgic to me, even with the HD upscale. They just felt fresh and more fluid. By comparison the year is 2023 this is 12 years ago.
It's kind of like saying that MGS2 is nostalgic in the year 2011 when that game came out 9 years prior. While I guess it would be more understandable to be nostalgic for MGS1 during this time, there was a conplete remake done in 2004. So I mean like I said nostalgia is subjective but you compare nostalgia between these two game series its like apples and oranges. I think it mistly has to do with how often these games are cranked out.
I think it's also narrative and scenario. MGS2 doesn't feel outdated or nostalgic to me because it's still so futuristic for being a game set in 2007. It feels more like alternate history.

I remember as a kid pouring over the cod multiplayer trailers to see whats new. "Akimbo? Thowing knives?? Dolphin diving???" Now, there is absolutely nothing new to find in these trailers.

No it should have been free. This was supposed to come out slowly over the course of 3 years but nobody is playing MW2 so they had to make a new game to make money

Call of Duty is not a series of games. Call of Duty is a subscription service that costed $60 per year and now costs $70 per year. The only difference between Call of Duty and Netflix is that Netflix changes up their catalogue every once in a while.

For those wondering why people keep saying these maps should have been free in MW2...
When MW2 came out we complained at the lack of maps, We was told that MW2 would be a 2yr game & that in the 2nd year we would get all OLD MW2 maps added as a FREE update... they LIED & instead decided to make it another game... that we have to pay full price for.
So to summarize: they are charging for full game using only REMASTERED maps.
They actually never stated anything about year 2s content so that's your own fault for thinking that

There was no concrete proof that MWII would be a 2 year game. That was an unfounded rumor.

I was so excited for Modern Warfare II and loved it when it first came out, but then the first battle pass released and it just killed the game. It had so much potential, but I saw where they were going with it and stopped playing mere months after it came out.
I'll probably never buy a Call Of Duty again unless there's a SERIOUS make-over of the entire franchise.

It's inbetween the 2 so I've heard but the game mechanics like ADS recoil etc will remain the same, so it's 2.5. Avoid.
@@RocketRentontbf a lot of sequels to games have very similar mechanics it's just much more polished. A good example would be God of War and God of War Ragnorak. Problem is mw3 won't have any polished mechanics it'll feel like the EXACT same game
