Welcome to another video. This is Selvin and my 9th gen Accord-TC2 !
Another performance part is on I can feel everything coming together !
Went with ATLP instead of Rv6 for J-pipe because of 2 reasons:
1.) Sound: I heard Rv6 is really Raspy and ATLP sounds a bit better.
2.) Power: Rv6 has better low end torque but for a FWD car I have plenty while ATLP was better for top end which is what I was aiming for.
Note - I do have ported runners to install guys but I’m going to wait until I get my hands on a ported manifold and install both together hehe..
I was going to install Throttle body but ordered wrong gaskets :/
Mods that i have waiting to be installed:
- J37 Throttle Body
- P2R Throttle Body Spacer
- Intake Manifold Spacer
- Ported Runners
JUST NEED MANIFOLD AND WOULD PUT IT ALL TOGETHER!

I prefer the rv6 jpipe and if you’re concerned about top end power get rid of the manifold spacer it hurts top end. Also a throttle body spacer is a waste.
I wanted to avoid the Rv6 rasp
& Manifold Spacer would bring down the curve so your right there but I see it as like a supporting mod that alone would hurt me but with everything else I don’t think it’ll matter much.
Throttle body spacer, I would be using it also as an adapter for the J37 Throttle Body.
@@selvinsgarage8339 thanks Man I got an acceleration video check it out 2017 touring sedan that’s with borla exhaust and takeda intake I got jpipe rv6 and 91 octane ktuner tune going on next hopefully that helps me out.
@@selvinsgarage8339 I got rasp already cause I chopped out the resonator I might need rv6 mid pipe that’s double resonated if I decide to go pcd or I might get high flow ones but it makes less power then still not sure which route I’m gonna go. You plan on tracking you car should be easy 13s!
I want to track it eventually first i want my rest of my mods on and lighter rims with grippier tires and i would be ready haha

Question: how do you get around the check engine light with having pre cat deletes?
I believe you can turn off the sensor, my check engine light is on lol
Pre cat deletes come with defoulers that space the O2 sensors out of the direct stream of exhaust gases. If you have the defoulers set correctly, you won’t have any CEL.
Get a Ktuner and disable the sensor.
@@suitedandbooted6612 defoulers defeat purpose of pcd’s, messes with your sensors and ratio, be my guest but will run crappy (not best performance)lol
@@veggiej35 That’s not really accurate. If you don’t run defoulers, you will have a CEL for catalyst inefficiency and the ecu will run in open loop (super rich) the whole time. You would lose power in that case. The defoulers allow you to reap the benefits of increased flow from the pcd’s, while tricking the ecu into thinking the catalyst is still present, so it doesn’t run open loop mode.

How much horsepower is your v6 9th gen accord now?

What’s your pop tune setup
Exhaust is PCD’s , J pipe, stock midpipe and Axleback
On the tune using the ‘Tune 1’ On ignition - Values are -12 and -13 from 2k rpm to redline. I did it on my Ktuner video . 😅
you need headers and manifold for full bolt on

I was going by the “headers + exhaust + intake + tune “ for the standard/basic FBO i know i can still do more bolt ons
And 9th gen accords doesn’t come with traditional headers which is why I have the downpipes installed.
Sounds nice ! 🔥, but I really don’t see the point of modding an automatic Honda ,
