Old Sacramento is a fun place to explore in the city for history, food, museums, and donuts. I have been many times and I always find something new to do each time I am there.

We were in Sacramento over the weekend to attend a convention. My family decided to make a quick visit to Old Sacramento before heading home and it didn’t disappoint. Based on your recommendations we visited Delta King, my son enjoyed the shooting gallery and we grabbed some desserts at Danny’s Mini donuts. We are going to Vegas in July and plan to visit some of the local attractions you’ve mentioned in your other video. Please do an updated road-trip to include Eddie’s World. I enjoy watching your videos and you’ve inspired me to take the time to appreciate and visit hidden roadside gems along the way. You are the new Huell Howser for this generation!

Gotta go to Old Sac on Labor Day weekend! They cover all the streets in dirt and have people running around in period clothing and they act out scenes (shoot outs and such) all around Old Sac. They also set up period appropriate tents with more vendors and more displays. It feels a lot more immersive than having all the cars passing through like the rest of the year.

Nice! Railroad Museum looks amazing (my nephew is a train engineer!) and my favorite burger has cheddar, bacon & peanut butter (dill pickles too) - first had a peanut butter burger years & years ago in LA! Did you try it?

I love the railroad museum, it's so fun to visit! That burger sounds interesting, I would give it a try but I am not sure it would be something I would like haha.

Well, it's mostly fun food like deep fried dishes. But there are also a couple of upscale restaurants such as ten 22, Firehouse Restaurant, and Rio City Cafe.
