I had several takeoffs at 21 meters with my previous VG. And landings around 30. Nil wind. Practice. 😎👍

Why everyone say that Savannah is better stol than CH 701. After looking at some videos of Zenit 701 i am not impressed by Savannah performance.

Dear Daniel, we think the original CH 701 performs slightly better at takeoff than the Savannah S. This might be an advantage of slats over vortex generators. But with the VG's the cruising speed is much higher. And keep in mind: It was a hot summer day, and our Savannah is only equipped with a fixed pitch prop.

I have built and flown both.
Very similar but Savannah wins for a few reasons.
