Now what happens when you want to change the flow rate? Swap to a spring with a different stiffness constant? I don't see the balancing valve as adjustable.

If you want to modify the system flow rate, you need to re-balance the circuit as follows: - Balancing valve with flow meter: the flow rate can be modified on the valve body - Differential pressure regulating valve: the flow rate can be modified on the valve body - Autoflow: a new cartridge with different setting is neededWe hope this is clear.
