Shaykh YQ says that Hamza (R.A.) didn't participate in Badr and he was eager to participate in Uhud. I think he was referring to Uthman (R.A.) and used Hamza's (R.A.) by mistake, bcoz Hamza (R.A.) did participate in the battle of Badr. Episode 46 - 50 Notes: Part 2 (Started on EP46)
On the 15th of Shawwal on a Saturday morning, the Prophet SAW motivated the Sahabah RA for the imminent battle. Before the battle, Abu Sufyan sent a messenger to the Muslims, who conveyed that Abu Sufyan was willing to let the Ansari Muslims go free, since his issue was with the Muhajirun. But, the Ansar were furious at this and refused to leave the Muslims behind.
    The Mubarazzah
Prior to the main battle as per usual, the first thing that occurred was the pre battle duel. Talha ibn Abi Talha came from the Quraysh and faced Ali RA from the Muslims. Ali RA faced Talha who was in full armour and chopped Talha’s leg off. Talha proceeded to fall on the floor and begged for his life. Ali RA felt mercy and walked back to the Muslims. Talha himself despite surviving the Mubarazzah, died later during the battle.
    The Battle of Uhud
    - The Initial Charge
After Ali RA’s victory in the Mubarazzah, the Muslims all charged at the Quraysh and the Quraysh were unable to push back the army. When the fighting commenced, the trio of Sahabah that are Hamza RA, Ali RA and Abu Dujana RA targeted the flag bearers of the Quraysh until the flag dropped. However, the battle raged on. During the battle Hind was rallying the Quraysh to boost morale. The initial charge of the Muslims was so devastating, that they broke through the Quraysh’s ranks, which caused Hind and the Qurayshi women to flee the battle. Not only did the women flee but also the entire Qurayshi army including Abu Sufyan. This led to the Sahabah RA assuming that the battle was over and thus they begun collecting the spoils of war.
    - The Martyrdom of Hamza RA
Hamza had killed many during the Battle of Uhud and his death wasn’t honourable. During the Battle of Badr, the uncle of Jubayr Ibn Mut’im had been killed by Hamza RA. Thus Jubayr offered his slave Wahshi his freedom in exchange for killing Hamza RA. Wahshi bared no ill will towards Hamza RA and simply wanted his freedom. Thus, Wahshi agreed to this and followed Hamza RA around during the Battle of Uhud and then threw a javelin at Hamza RA. This javelin was hit with such force that, it went through Hamza RA, who then turned around, in order to deal with Wahshi, but it was too late and he died a martyr. After his death and before the Qurayshi women fled, Hind Bint Utbah came and cut open the stomach of Hamza RA and took out his liver and bit it. But, then spat it out. Hind then proceeded to cut of the fingers nose and toes of Hamza RA and made a necklace out of them. She then shrieked in happiness at having taken revenge on the Muslims for killing her father, uncle, brother and son at Badr. There are also some narrations which state that she castrated Hamza RA.
    - Khalid enters the Muslim camp
The 50 archers on left on Jabal Al Rumah saw the other Sahabah RA collecting the war booty and they began getting complacent. This eventually led to 40/50 of them abandoning their posts and this was exactly what Khalid Ibn Waleed was waiting for.
Khalid found his opening that will directly take him to the Muslim camp and with approximately 150 Qurayshi solders he launched his attack. The Prophet SAW was the first to notice Khalid and his contingent and thus the Prophet SAW began shouting at the top of his lungs, in order to the warn the Sahabah RA who were busy collecting war booty. This led to total chaos amongst the Muslim ranks because some of the Muslims were unarmed and thus some of them began fleeing the battle. Nevertheless, the Muslims who were at the camp and those who were on the battlefield began facing one another with Khalid and the Quraysh in-between them. This led to a conflict which sadly resulted in Muslims killing Muslims. The reason for this was because Shaytaan had tricked them and also because the battlefield was a unorganised mess because of Khalid’s surprise invasion.
    - The Martyrdom of Mus’ab Ibn Umayr RA
It is likely that Mus’ab RA was one of the first Muslims to be targeted by the Quraysh when they launched their surprise counter offensive. Mus’ab RA held the Muslim flag and thus the Quraysh severed both his arms, but this would not deter Mus’ab RA from dropping the flag. Thus the Quraysh slashed and stabbed him until he died.
    - The Prophet Muhammad SAW’s Injuries
When Khalid and his contingent came between the divided Muslim army and began causing havoc on the battlefield. The Prophet SAW was surrounded by only 9 of the Sahabah, 7 of them were Ansar and the other two were Talhah RA and Sa’d Ibn Abi Waqqas RA. These Sahabah RA decided that they must protect the Prophet SAW by taking him to the mountains of Uhud, in order to avoid Khalid and his contingent. Thus the Prophet SAW took refuge within a small crevice in Uhud. Mean whilst the 7 Ansar acted as decoys to lure the Quraysh away. All 7 Ansar died as Shaheeds. The 2 Muhajirun, Talhah RA and Sa’d RA mean whilst were standing outside the crevice and firing volleys of arrows at any Quraysh who approached them. Talhah RA had his fingers chopped off during this defence of the Prophet SAW. It was during this period when the Prophet SAW killed Ubay Ibn Khalaf, by throwing a javelin at him and piercing his neck with it, which later led to Ubay’s death.
The Prophet Muhammad SAW was injured during the Battle of Uhud. But, the amount of times is disputed. At least 3 times the Prophet SAW was injured. Twice by Utbah Ibn Abi Waqqas, who first made SAW bleed by throwing a rock at his mouth. The second time was when Utbah fired an arrow, that hit the cheek of the Prophet SAW and dislodged one of his teeth. The third injury was done by Abdullah Ibn Kamia, who caused the Prophet SAW’s armour to go into one of his cheeks, as a result of a failed attack. This led to the Prophet SAW bleeding from both of his cheeks and SAW thus repeatedly had to wipe his face when he was in the crevice of Uhud. It is unknown exactly when all three attacks occurred but they likely occurred after Khalid’s contingent attacked.

Disclaimer for my Notes of Sheikh Yasir Qadhi’s Seerah of the Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam Series:
Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh, these are my notes on Sheikh Yasir Qadhi’s Seerah series.
Please note: I HIGHLY recommend that you all watch YQ’s Seerah series, as I DON’T cover every single detail the Sheikh mentions. I made these notes primarily for myself but, decided my fellow brothers and sisters may benefit from them too. I no doubt will have made mistakes in my notes. All the good in these notes is from Allah SWT and all the mistakes are from myself. But, I was very meticulous and tried my best to make sure everything is accurate as the Sheikh mentions it.
You also will see I have added “Fun Trivia facts” under each of my notes. These FTFs are information YQ said that was off topic or not necessary to include in my notes for the episode. But, they were still worth mentioning hence the inclusion as FTFs. FTFs aren’t always HAPPY pieces of information. Sometimes they are very sad trivia. I just want to say that FTF is the phrase I used for them all collectively when making the notes.
One thing I wanted to do but am too lazy to do is, maybe someone could take the FTFs from under each “Episode” and make an Islamic reminder/information IG/TikTok account and post them daily or something. Could be a great form of Sadaqah Jaariyah.
Please keep me in your Duas and ask Allah SWT to forgive all our sins during this blessed month and beyond! Ameen

    3 things.
Zubayr Ibn Awwam was the son of Safiyya - not Abdullah ibn Zubayr. Abdullah was the grandson of Safiyya. Abdullah's mother was Asma bint Abi Bakr. But that doesn't make Abdullah the double cousin of the prophet as the prophet wasn't blood related to Asma but related through marriage (through Aisha).
Dr Qadhi was right the first time and the people who corrected him were wrong.
2nd. Dr said Hind bint Abi Sufyan. Hind was Abu Sufyan's wife. Her name was Hind bint Utbah.
3rd. Hamzah fought in Badr. Uthman didn't fight in Badr because he was with his dying wife, the prophet's daughter, Ruqayyah bint Muhammad.

The importance of the Jumu`ah timing is not as much as remembering that it takes the place of Z*oohr and remembering that one does not pray any recommended or voluntary part of it before or after, if one was there for it or was able to pray two more bows of ritual prayers when joining late.
Just as it becomes clear that Prophet Muhammad did not accept males as being men till 15 and puberty, so is it clear that females under 13 or without puberty are not to be treated as women under actual Islamic law.
13th to 15th of the 10th month seems a long time of arranging a battle by modern standards, but I see how it could take months centuries ago.

What is right what is wrong. Actually his spice up is the culprit. He lies and make the whole of his own presentation un reliable.

+Ashfaq Ahmed your understanding is wrong, the drunk man did not tell about the caravan, but the army that were being prepared to attack madina, when the army left, Abbas (R.A) sent a slave to madina to infrom Muslims about the attack. jibraeel told prophet about the caravan. get your own facts right before criticizing.
