Do you think coronation revolution blades would fit the clamp?

Hello Bader, I believe that the Revolution variant will not work. czcams.com/video/DNX3SvXzyKM/video.html The front adapter looks like it might have to be modified. BUT the clamp look like it probably doesn't work. Regards.

Hello. I am planning to buy this but we still considering how long lasts the grinding disk? Manufacturer says around 40 skates? Is it true? One disk price 120 euro, so its 3 euro per skate only on grinding disk…

Each grind wheel 'lasts" 320 passes. A pass is one back and forth. (ie heel to toe and toe to heel. ) The grind disc has a chip inside. After 320 passes the machine will not allow the disc to work.
So if you use 4 passes per skate to sharpen you have used 8 passes for a pair of skates. So the "40 pairs" number is from 320/8 = 40 pairs.
A touchup minor sharpening might be 2 passes.
A brand new pair of skates ( or abused walk on concrete rental skate) can take 8 to 12 passes PER SKATE. Say 10 average. So 20 passes for one pair. ie Now 320/20= 16 pairs.
The Bauer Prosharp skatepal Pro 3 machine costs way more. But the cost per pair to sharpen is less. Prosharp's skate pal machine version have been around a couple of decades. Sparx uses the same scheme of Pixie dust on a grind disc for each radius of hollow. Sparx adds the chip so you only get 320 passes. Prosharp has no big brother you get only so many passes chip. So the prosharp machine is way cheaper to run with a mess of little kids skates
The sparx machine does not care if you sharpen tiny childs skates or a giants skates. After 320 passes the disc is marked as not usable. The chip inside is like a having a Old school Paper to go to 320 skating sessions at a rink. Each skate session (pass) you get the card punched. It does not matter if you skated a session for 1 minute of the full 90 minutes.
The Sparx machines I own are good units, they cost per sharpen is like say double versus a grind disk SSM2 machine. Sparx makes its money on the consumables. ie the Razor blade marketing model.

@@3beltwesty We have a local group of puppils skating, like 30-40. They sharpen blade every 3-4 weeks. What do you think is the best sharpening machine to use?
