That legato run is everything at the end. I find the use of the whammy in the beginning very interesting. Randy was big on tapping with the bend so its cool to see his technique replaced with a different one. Unique choice. Hats off for doing hammer on and pull off through the entire trill section just like randy. Youve done very well and made it your own at the same time.

Randy uses his whammy on that part in the original recording. He switched up to a descend in the live version that he played on his LP.

Saint Rhoads had the Sandoval flying v with a trem bar , he might of used it on the recording, me personally, I believe he tapped down the fret board with maybe some slight bending. But only he knows.

I don't understand how it has dislikes. Hopefully those 500 people aren't expecting an exact copy of the solo from the 80's Blizzard of Oz album! Everyone's interpretation is different, like your voice. It's what makes music beautiful and interesting. And the guy had the notes spot-on, with effortless playing. I can't tell from one solo, but he appears to be a very accomplished musician. Fantastic job in my opinion. (30yrs playing myself)
