@@theoutlander1411 Considering Blizzard just nerfed hunters into the ground for the second time and is now unplayable unless you go melee or use a pet I'd say Blizzard is worse. Over night they completely made my playstyle unviable. You don't do any damage due to Explosive Shot nerfs. It got cut by 75% damage so now you need a pet or play melee.
No tactical ranged with environmental awareness for me anymore. No fun to be had anywhere.

I want to call you a pessimist and accuse you of crapping on something before it even has a chance. I want to call you a curmudgeon and a killjoy. However seeing youtube videos coming out about "best builds for SoD' and "SoD BIS lists" and "SoD class rotations" before it has even come out and I know you're right to be pessimistic and that there will be a good chunk of players that will be like the main character here.

Blizzard hasn't given any indication of adding items outside of the 4 or 5 profession recipes and the new dungeon loot, so a bis list is probably a good thing to look into before hand.
@@smolpener7430 Well the purpose of SoD is supposed to be about exploration, coming up with custom lists to suit your playstyle and experiencing the changes to sort of "rediscover" Classic WOW. If people are min-maxing the game before it even has come out, whether through creating the videos or watching them, then the whole purpose is already going off the rails.
Look at HC already. Boosts, spammed advertisements in cities, guilds boosting new characters etc. Something that was billed as a new way to play the game for fun has turned into the same old thing we're seeing in WOTLKC. How long until we see overtuning, parses, GS checks etc in SoD? Not to mention all the bots. People are going to raid log and alt even more than they do in WOTLK already and we're going to create BiS lists, rotation guides, and builds right off the hop?
If people genuinely want to play the game like this, there's no reason to play SoD as you get the same mindset in the Classics. The first week and maybe second or third week will be fun and then it's going to devolve into Classic.

Clearly the version picture is beyond OP and the stats needed to be rebalanced/take away the instant kill on hit proc so it’s not like Martin thunder rofl, but still this shoulda been in phase 1 and it would have been fair since ranged casters, melee 2h dps/tanks, and ranged physical dps ALL got an epic BiS item there 😢

No, the fully geared chars are the ones selling the runs for gold to the noobs. The guy with all blues and 2 epic tier pieces is the one that bought it.
@@SavantAudiosurf Not really. A lot of GDKPs are just made by better players who make money by selling loot to the worse players. They take a big cut and then sell the gold online cheaper than what Blizzard charges. You don't need a lot of gear to do that and you wouldn't do that on your main anyway as killing the harder bosses with bad players is difficult. That's mostly an alt gold making scheme thing.
I know most of this is in satire but most of it is also true and real. It’s also why I probably won’t play SoD.

I remember playing smite priest in Cata nonheroic alt raids. You would heal the most hurt ally with the damage dealt by smiting. Our main priest was rolling his eyes but hey, nonheroic alt raids. Yes I was just spamming smite the whole fight.
@@biogoo smite and shadow were close in classic but lack of raid buffs on smite meant I was always shadow in raids.
SOD could have been rad with Angel form smite priest.
