I have for many years done everything I do “as unto The Lord”. Thanking him for it all. So good to hear someone else being prayerful for their chores.
I love that!
I am one of those people without a home. Yes, she is correct. I would give anything for this.
Prayer definitely changes things!
Mary,
Thank you so very much for your encouragement. I am 63 years old and spend a lot of time alone in a mountain setting. My husband is around, but busy with our business. I am thankful for your channel and Godly reminders of just how good the Lord is and how to enjoy the simple gifts God is blessing us with. I am new to your channel, milling, baking and I look forward to following your channel. I have been eating the Leviticus clean meats diet for over a decade now. God does know best. Thank you again for what you are doing.
Thank you so much for watching!
Amen!! God bless!😊
Thank you for doing this video. I am one who gets so overwhelmed that I grumble a lot. I had to retire early in 2020 due to ongoing health issues and get frustrated easily and complain about house chores. I’m slowly decluttering. Thank you for the sweet reminder to pray.
Thanks so much for sharing this!
Mary….I had that same saying hanging on my kitchen cabinet right by the sink for years. !! It was my old Aunts. In a picture frame. It’s been over 20 years since I moved and packed it somewhere but haven’t come across it. I too know it by heart. Thank you for the beautiful video and encouragement to be prayerful in everything… God has been so good to me !! ❤️ …. Made the soft sourdough bread today and it’s so very good ! I’ve always used bread flour but used the AP and about a half cup of rye. Put the seasoning on top and oh my it’s delicious!,!! Thank you so much. God bless !
Thank you so much for watching! God bless!
Mary, thank you for this beautiful reminder. I loved being a homemaker and I often prayed while doing chores, but I don't think quite in the way you are expressing here. I'm grateful for your insight, especially now, as I'm in a "place" that has left me questioning many things, though I know God is always with me. I will prevail, but in the meantime, it's a comfort and a joy that our Father leads me to those who have some goodness of heart to share.
That's a wonderful comment! Made me smile. I know we can be in dark places sometimes, but, our Father is always a prayer away!
💖@@TheRoseHomestead I agree.
This was such a blessing to me!
Thank you for this video truly a blessing
What an absolutely beautiful video... So inspiring... Such a beautiful reminder to be thankful for everything... Thank you so much for this honesty. Bless you
Thank you so very much!!
Thank you for this video, you’ll never know how much it blessed me and encouraged me in the Lord. 🙏🏻
Thank you so much!
Amen to all you said! Being thankful surely changes our perspective. My regret is that I didn’t know the skills I now have while I was raising my 5 children. My house was full with children and grandchildren afterwards but I did see it as unwelcome chores but now in our empty home I wish I could do it all over again and appreciate everything. As my life is slowing down I truly appreciate all God has blessed us with.🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Well said!
I appreciate this so much. 😭🥹♥️🍃🌸🍃
I need to remember this more. Most days I am fine with the work that needs to be done around the home, but sometimes it seems never ending
I just love this! You have reminded me that I can use this time to pray, and that it's a gift from God. I need to be grateful that I am still able to do housework. Thank you for sharing your heart💗
Thank you for watching!
Love, love, love this!!!
Thank you for this! I always say to do things as I would for the Lord but I love how you pray over each chore.
This is such a wonderful reminder of how blessed we are. Thank you for this video. God bless!!
Thank you so much for watching!
I just Love you.
Your Heart is so like mine.
Thankful to have found you.
Thank you for this video today
Oh, thank you so much! Have a wonderful day!
Such a beautiful message. Thank you for this - it was a good reminder for me :)
Great video, we should always be thankful to God for everything we have, and that we’re able to take care of it, like you said many people would love to have what we have. Loved it.
Thank you!!
Thank you sometimes we all just need to be reminded of what all we do have to be thankful for.
Amen to that!
Touching with the hands ■ it is written that what the hands touch can be blessed, and I have found if a task seems difficult that knowing if I touch the task and trust for the blessing that awaits, I believe the work will be done in an abundance of reward.
Amen!
This brought tears to my eyes when I heard your commentary. I consider myself one who enjoys praying but praying through housework is not something I have thought to do before. I love your perspective and find myself encouraged and excited to view more of your content. Thank you for imparting your wisdom. ❤
The first thing I do when I open my eyes is give praise, I say HallaluYAH. My grandsons 11 & 6 years old now do the same.. -Sharron
I don't view house chores as troublesome, I view it as a "gift", which is the same way I view cooking, and baking bread or baking anything. I have skills [so do you] so I am thankful for my skills because just as many people don't have those skills of cleaning house or baking bread as there are homeless. so I thank GOD for blessing me with my skills.
Yes, Amen to that!
“An Attitude of Gratitude turns what we have into enough”. God bless dear lady! New subscriber here and I love your channel!❤
Thanks for subscribing and I love this saying! Good words!
I love this video! I agree about homemaking. I'm retired and now able to fully be present. I find myself complaining too because I have joint issues but try to just get more done on my less painful days. I think we are all so blessed if we have a home, good food to cook, and family to serve. I think of what Jesus wants us all to do and I think of it as a way to serve my husband. You know, I did look for one of those plates and found one on ebay that had the saying. Did you find one yet?
Yes, so true! A sweet subscriber actually sent me one of the plates! I have it hanging over my sink just like my grandma did! Thank you so much for watching!
This made me cry, because Vermont and my town in particular, recently was hit very hard by a flood as bad as Hurricane Irene 12 years ago, and nearly as bad as the 1927 flood here, the worst flood ever in this state. My home was also deeply affected, but was not destroyed. There's a lot to do to make the repairs and do the clean-up, but there were so many people here who literally lost their homes. I am at once grateful that my home can be repaired, sad that my garden is very damaged, and also my barn and cellar with the furnaces, and very sad that others are without a home, or faced with far more debt than I am. Mary, your video is very real and appropriate right now, and just makes me want to be more grateful for all I have. So often we have more than we realize.🥲
I'm so sorry for what you've been through! Many prayers!
@@TheRoseHomestead Thank you, Mary--I just found some little plants in my garden that were alive, and my garlic is also OK! Very excited and grateful. 🌱🥀
Thank you for reminding me to be thankful in all things and prayerful at all times. Val C
Thank you for this beautiful video and testimony.
Thank you so much!
I enjoyed your program. In Richmond we also had a large garden and chickens that we enjoyed. Did you know that many weeds are not only edible but very nutritious? Eva
Yes, we pick several weeds on our property to use for medicinal purposes. Thank you so much for watching!
New subscriber here and I want to thank you for sharing your life with others! It's so easy to get discouraged in everyday, mundane housework and this is a reminder for me to" Give Thanks to the Lord in all things!" I live in Texas, and we had a few inches of snow this morning, so I'll be making some vegetable soup today and try to finish a crocheted throw I've been working on. Blessings to you and your husband! I'm enjoying your channel!
Oh, thank you so much! We have snow today too:)
Wonderful!
Thankyou Rose, yes sometimes our lives get so overwhelming with chores. My kitchen has baskets, buckets, pails, dishpans, with food from our garden. I get so busy preserving food that I’m thankful for, but other chores such as house cleaning, yard work., all get push to side. Then I get discouraged because my home is not in order. When I should be more thankful, because we are so blessed to have this all. So Thankyou for this video I really needed it. Love your videos
Well said! I am in that phase right now. So much time preserving and working up the harvest, the rest of the house is sorely neglected. But, there will be plenty of time after this to tend to the rest! Thanks so much for watching!
Great Video ! Great Inspiration ! 😊
What an inspiration your video was to me this morning! Your words have caused me to re-set my attitude toward what I viewed as mundane chores. After being in the workplace for over 53 years, I'm trying to settle into full-time homemaking, and it's been a challenge. Thank you for the reminders that you provided that gratitude is the key to everything, and what better way to spend our time than praying over our work and those who will benefit from it? Thanks so much for the inspiration!
Thank you so much! I had to settle into homemaking as well when I left my job. It's a journey!
Thank you for this video! A great reminder of how a grateful and prayerful approach can change our outlooks. I am not always good at this, but I am practicing and praying! Thank you God bless 🙏🏻
Thank you so much for watching! God bless!
Amen! Thank you for this video, perfect timing. I am not physically able to clean and when I am I resent that others that live here don't help out more. Instead I need to be thankful for the days I am able to clean and thankful for any help I get. So thank you my friend for taking the time to remind us. Chores sure go alot better with a grateful heart. So many Don't have a home, I'm thankful I do.
I'll be praying for you! Thank you for watching!
JUST CAME ACROSS YOU!!!!!!!!!!!! THANKS FOR SHARING GOD BLESS YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thankful for you today. I have been struggling with “chores” that I need to do. My husband used to do a couple of them, but he is dealing with cancer & all that comes along with fighting it, so I am needing to do it. I guess we both are a little wore out mentally, physically, but not spiritually. So hearing what you had to say has opened my eyes to help me push through & just pray & be thankful for those dirty dishes, laundry, ect. This is going to help me so much. I’ve never really been thankful or prayed about my chores, but now I see how they are a blessing. You too are a blessing. Thank you.💚
I'm so glad the video encouraged you! So sorry for your struggles and pray things get better soon😌
This was so inspiring! Thank you for sharing on how to pray as we go about our daily chores. Bless you!
Beautiful ❤
Amen...I so agree. I found your channel through searching sourdough tip and recipes ..I really enjoy you sweet spirit. May God richly bless you both.
Weeds ■ I now have developed my kitchen garden into a forage garden. Researching has instructed me how nutritious most weeds are beneficial, and many are herbs.
We forage many of our weeds here, such as Mullen, stinging nettle, jewel weed, and plantain. Very beneficial for sure!
@@TheRoseHomestead Excellent! They are food and medicine; I wonder if the word 'weed' indicates more than our culture teaches, I find them to be superior sources for health. I have enlarged to other parts of the lawn for mix gardening including vegetables, but my native plant life always out performs.
Wonderful thoughts this morning! 👍🏻👍🏻🙂♥️
Thank you for sharing, and the reminder to be thankful for all things ❤!
Thanks for watching!
People should really listen to this lady she really makes you laugh and she makes you smile 😊
Thank you so much!
I have been without a home and I am so grateful that I have a roof over my head and good place to sleep and plenty to eat I am so blessed because 7 yrs ago I didn't, I was a widow back then .God placed a good man in my life when I was not looking .we been married 6 yrs come March and I am so thankful to God for keeping his hands on me .
Amen! God is so good to us!
I pray and I'm thankful always. But I "mullygrub" too. Thank you for the reminder and encouragement!
Thank you for watching!
Good morning. Thoughtful reminders, thank you. I don't love weeding either and when I am pulling all those pesky weeds I always blame Adam. I think of Genesis 4:17 & 18 😊
Love your videos!! I as well dint like to mop, but it's something needing to be done when you live on a homestead!!
Thank you!
I love the idea of blessing the feet that walk on this floor 🥹🙏. I'd love to hear even more examples of prayers to use!
Hi lovely, just came across your video. I don't know if you have managed to get the dirty dishes plate you have been looking for but I have had a look on ebay and there are one or two available for about $14. Hope this helps. God bless
Thank you so much!
you both are an inspiration to us. love your attitude and greatful for what you have. we would love to meet up with you guys. do you ever meetup with your followers? We live in knoxville tn but would like to pick your mind sometime.

I Thessalonians 5:17-18. The Lord is been teaching me and dealing with me in these things.
Pray always! Love this!
