Dang this is awesome also an idea is you could add a thing where the AI can also get drunk and when they do they could pick fights with other AI maybe?

Hey i'm working on a similar project for school and i was wondering how did you make the mug to fill in with ale and how to differentiate it from cheap and good ale

i heard your game saves the data into a JSON file which works but it’s really easy to change the values in a json file and basically hack the game and get infinite money or whatever. you should do research into serialization and how to implement it as it’s much harder to change individual values of a games save file
You are 100% correct but since it’s a casual game I don’t care if people want to cheat
Will dropping or throwing mugs break them? Which makes me wonder will there be pub brawls? If so, I'm not sure if you should make it so you need to break it up to reduce damages or participate because it's fun. Maybe a little of both?
Probably won’t have the mugs break. They are wooden so not sure how much force would be realistic. Yes on the brawls, it would require quite a bit of work so not too sure how I’ll do it, but guaranteed will be added eventually
Make it fore vr, it would be a good game for vr.

I'm a bit late to the party with this comment but you could totally make cheap ale and good ale two valid responses to the order 'ale' and maybe depending on what you decide to charge customers they might feel ripped off and cause havoc if they have a good sense of taste or something.
That’s a pretty good idea, I was thinking of implementing custom satisfaction somehow
how 'bout creating something like there'll be fights in the tavern. like some dude comes and asks for an ale or some porridge and he decides to not pay and grabs your collar. it would be fun, or wouldn't it be???????????????

Why has it been so long since the last devlog? I think more alcaholic drinks and foods could make the gane more intresting and maybe listening in onto people's comversations could be added for entertainment reasons
