My 2002 Hornet shows 250 kmh on the speedo (completely standard, except from slip on exhaust) 155mph analogue speedo.. HOWEVER.. GPS reads 145mph (analogue speedo's are out the faster you go) still 10mph faster then the new one.. is it cause of emissions or what? the new one also has more CC's 650 compared to 600 in the old one..

220 kmh is about 137 mph ... wind resistance really kills the top speed 🤔🤔🤔
It's my first big bike but I could never find the balls to go over 120km at 6k RPM. Noob question: Hard hard can I safely push her and not mess up the engine too much?
As long as its below the rev limiter your engine should be fine.
The engine is designed to rev high, as long as you don't hit the rev limiter continuously. Always keeping it below 6k rpm could give you problems like carbon buildup, so push it without fear of messing something up!

Yes, no db killer. The sprocket is stock
@@MotoTopSpeed I attempted one time on my 2018 cb650f with cs racing exhaust without db killer in 5 gear I was around 218km/h unfortunately I run out the road and I did have change to get top speed pass 200km/h take times to get top......

@@MotoTopSpeed I would still be fine with that. Only thing that sucks is being on a 600 and trying to keep up with liter bikes around you on straight aways.

I have same bike with akrapovic and I bet that my bike is faster at the first 2 sec.
The start it is not bad at all, oficial 0-100 is 3.7, and in this attempt it was 4.0+/-.
But I agree that in high rpm's it feels a bit struggled.
I already own cb650f with same mods and reach 250, and this bike in the video not even 240 reaches.
0-100 = 4 seconds and 0-200 = 13 seconds. Top speed GPS around 215km/h. Not wery impressive.
Not to bad for an naked bike under 100cv's, but in top speed is very weak 😅
GPS reached 220kmh, which is 136mph. That's not wildly fast but it reaches the top speed pretty quick and it hits 120 like nothing and that's all I need in a bike..looks amazing lotsa fun! Tony Soprano would not want your mother to die from cancer of eyes if you owned this bike, that's for sure.
