I just finished my Vitavon X-maxx. I don't have a video yet but soon I will. My X-maxx is the first complete aluminum frame and other parts.

      It must be pretty heavy?!

It is heavy, really heavy but that is not the point. It is honestly the most beatiful RC truck I have ever seen. If you think it's too heavy just check your jelousy at the door, I dont think you understand what I have done or what I was going for. Thank you for the message though!

You know official traxxas xmaxx xrt stainless steel full screw set is $65. It's worth it when everything else is so nice on your truck. For the x-maxx it's Traxxas 7889X

      Lot of added weight

I respect spending all the money on Vitavon, or other companies doing Aluminum components. However if you do the math, it simply doesnt give enough real world advantage. Plus the HUGE added cost is insane. However, if running 1 RC, go for it. I find that replacing "Stock" is expensive enough, but at least RC gets maintained on a fair interval with stock (Seasonal)

I agree for the most part but aluminum parts in the right location like these and nothing with ever bend. Now the weakest link is the arms how it’s supposed to be
