Hey Dan another great video! Say you wanted to sell your compass but the leather case had to be sourced from a different supplier, how would you go about combining product from two suppliers for a single ASIN?
you could either send the second item to the other supplier to package them together for a fee, or send both products to your address and pack them together on your own.

Do you come up with a new brand name each time you do a new product? Or with something like a gift idea do you list as generic?

Hi Dan. Thank you for your video. i just wanted to ask what about if you want to put some small gift for customer. lets say for example the compass. what if i want to put a tiny gift for the customer like a minimap or anything to make him give me nice review? does amazon do it for me or do i need a 3pl ?

Love this! Ben you can do this and I have done this.
The way I did this is to simply include it within the product BUT do not mention it on the listing.
Have an insert card also within the product that explains you've included this extra gift.
Avoid anything like "here's a gift so review my product" though as this is against TOS.
It's an organic way to overdeliver and hopefully generate more organic reviews.
Amazon cannot deliver gifts separately and while you could have a 3PL do this separately, I recommend the way I have mentioned above.

So if i buy a product from a manifacturer like a compass for example, and lets say i want to put a minimap in the package that i ordered from a different place as a gift, then how will that minimap go inside the compass box ? amazon can do it for me, or i need a 3PL ?
Hello Dan, did you launch that product in the end? I wonder how is performing. Also althought you mentioned about adding value to the product, how exact can you do that? if the factory not willing to do it for you? or ask for higher MOQ? that could increase your cost? Alot of the products we source is already pre-made with a mold, or do we create a new mold? this can be a higher cost to start, how can we tackle this problem? thank you
Hi Dan, are the retailprices in your video excluding Sales Tax? When is this Sales Tax paid? Here in Europe, the retailprice includes the Sales Tax.
