    I just got one with 200,000 miles on it and it has some issues, but runs perfectly fine.

    Thanks for the video. My C230 Kompressor has 173,000 miles on it with original coil packs. I changed the spark plugs about a year ago. Just ordered 4 OEM coil packs and new spark plugs from FCP Euro. I'm also having a slightly rough idle when i come to a stop light. I'm hoping this will smoothen it out.

      Nice. 173k miles. You can also check motor mounts or transmission mounts if they have never been replaced to help if you have vibration issues.

    Hows maintenance on these cars. With all the bad rep Benz gets. I know a shop who is trying to sell me an 07 c230 v6. They replaced the timing chain head gasket and some shaft i forgot the name 147k. Yours with with 280k make me rethink of actually buying it

      I have not had any major issues with the vehicle. I had an AC compressor go out and replaced that. I have changed out the front suspension, starter, and coolant reservoir and hoses. Didn't really cost me much. Just my time. I regularly change the oil and that's about it. My vehicle is the V4 - supercharged Kompressor.

    I’m in the process of changing the spark plugs. I’ve gotten all of them changed except the exact one you had trouble with. What did you use to finally get the spark plug out

    • @RapidRalphsVehicleVlog
      @RapidRalphsVehicleVlog  Před 3 lety +1

      I just had to turn very very slow and wiggled the spark a little bit and was able to finally remove the spark plug. Got one good grabbed and it finally came out. I used a spark plug removal socket.

    I have a c320 2003. And the ignition light came on. It says that like 6 spark plugs are bad. So i should replace the 12 just to be sure. My question is how do I know what sparkplugs i need for my car ?

    • @RapidRalphsVehicleVlog
      @RapidRalphsVehicleVlog  Před rokem

      I would replace all since you have the area open already. You can google what spark plug you need, or look at FCPEuro, local auto stores where you are located like AutoZone, O'reileys, Advanced Auto, etc...

    May I ask how many times you’ve replace your c230 and at what mileage intervals. Thanks

    • @RapidRalphsVehicleVlog
      @RapidRalphsVehicleVlog  Před 9 měsíci

      I didn't change sparks or ignition coils as much as I should have. I changed the sparks about every 50k miles and only the ignition coil packs 2 times before at 75k and 150k.

  • @mangochampagnelasssi9028

    Question can you make a video of you’re car itself. I’m trying to make my car all black too. Also was you’re car showing a engine light? Anytime I try to go up a hill or even try to give some gas to the car when I’m driving it’s very slow and doesn’t give enough power. Im wondering if that’s my cars issue.

    • @RapidRalphsVehicleVlog
      @RapidRalphsVehicleVlog  Před 3 lety

      No, my car was not showing a light. I was doing regular maintenance and it was a little over time. See prior comment on when I change the sparks. I changed all coils due to a slight rough idle. Definitely I'll get a video on how to black out. I can show what I had de-chromed. It's been about 5 years since I had plasti-dipped most of the chrome on the car. Pretty simple process.

      @@RapidRalphsVehicleVlog my car is throwing a light. It’s either the spark plugs or the down stream sensor. My car is blacked on everything except the wheels which I’ll be doing this Friday. But the headlights I’m changing to something else

      @@mangochampagnelasssi9028 You should hook up a code sensor to see what code you are getting. there are some cheap options out there. I want to change my headlights also. Not sure to which one yet. You'll have to remove bumper and then three screws to switch out. Not too difficult.

    Why did you replace them?

    • @RapidRalphsVehicleVlog
      @RapidRalphsVehicleVlog  Před 3 lety +2

      I change my spark plugs probably every 40,00 miles. I was already over the mileage so I thought I would change them for regular maintenance. Some people recommend every 30,000 miles. For the coil packs, I had a slight rough idle which I thought I would change all coils which made a huge difference after changing.
