    Ok who's got Vi predictions?? 👀
    (My Vi prediction video will hopefully be out Sunday!)

    • @QuinoLising
      @QuinoLising Před 12 dny +14

      Episode 3 or 6, likely will be shot in crossfire by Caitlyn attempting to shoot Jinx in their fight because her instincts kick in and she impulsively shows her love for Jinx as a person by protecting her. This could give her amnesia and lead to her leaning more into the Enforcer role.
      This one below is highly theoretical...
      I think Vi will kill Jinx. In a burst of outrage. A mental dam breaking that makes her anger flood through mirroring Episode 3 in a darker manner. I think Jinx would have to harbor no bitterness in order to not repeat Silco's sin, but still love her sister and accept her.
      But hey, that's just a theory.

      @@Taj_SAS If she had amnesia, was under serious pressure and development of 9 episodes, facing a dangerous mentally ill terrorist, and had a mental dam be broken, I think it could lead to her lashing out, mirroring why she walked away in episode 3, to not get angry. Then when she doesn't and it gets a loved one killed, I suppose it could.

      It seems that way, but I do majorly disagree with his main theory regarding jinx's story and how she advances as a character, that being that she'll kill Warwick. Firstly, Warwick is a champion in league (so chances of them killing him off are already near zero), and that to, not an evil one, more of an anti hero figure if anything. They might come to a confrontation, but I don't think jinx can really "kill" Warwick, considering he's a big agile strong mutant werewolf pumped full of chemtech. If anything, Warwick might try to hunt her since he goes after criminals, and who's a better target than the person who waged the war bringing upon even more death on both sides. I feel like vi intervenes to save her from Vander, and their confrontation becomes even more complex from there

  • @timhaldane7588
    @timhaldane7588 Před 12 dny +997

    I think you might be onto something with Warwick here. Jinx has been dealing with monsters in her head for years now and finally learned to accept it. For Jinx, Warwick is just a natural extension of things. "Nothing ever stays dead." "Everyone betrays us." But for Vi, Vander becoming a bloodthirsty monster out to kill her would be a horrific shock.

      @Deilmo_ Před 12 dny +31

      Vander and red have been associated some times yes. The warwick one, the bridge one BUT ALSO one of Silco's flashback of him drawing has a very similar shot to the bridge's one but seen through water. It actually makes sense cause Silco is more associated with the color green so both colors clash against one another.

    • @TheRibottoStudios
      @TheRibottoStudios Před 12 dny +11

      that's probably very on purpose. The bridge is often in color to associate with either emotion or a callback. When it came to the confrontation on the bridge between Ekko, Cait, Marcus Vi and Jinx, it was all in shades of grey to reflect the varying moralities of each character. In the beginning it was red to reflect the violent nature of warfare. Here, it would be red again but to reflect Warwick's violent nature. I don't think Jinx is talking to Warwick like Schnee says when she goes "I'm glad it's you. HAD to be you." that's either Vi or Caitlyn. She had no real attachment to Vander, so such a statement doesn't make sense towards him.

    The "neutralize every agent still loyal to Silco" can pretty much be a war against all Zaun , because what the criteria of Silco loyalist? Just chem barons? Or zaunites who are against Piltover's oppression which was Silco's biggest idea, it's very vague so it can be the whole Zaun. Which makes me think Caitlyn's objectives partially influenced by Ambessa

      part of it is politics and arrogance. she is selling the public she can fix things super quick her taking down shimmer production and targeting chembarons is basically declaring war against whole of zaun. not the targeted and quick approach she is trying to sell to the crowd. We get from the trailer her strike squad into Zaun ends in disaster as she and Jayce keep thinking Piltover can cake walk over Zaun while ignoring Zaun basically has every factor of war in their favor, hence why the council originally thought Jayce and Cailtyn declaring war for justice was silly. it looks like Piltover turns to Ambessa when Piltover realizes they aren't top dog anymore which furthers Piltover is not the bastion of heaven on runeterra it keeps trying to portray it self as.

      Zaunites just want to be left alone. Silco was a better chembaron, not a savior. Oh, silco imagined himself as one - made it his cause celebre - but he had no issue killing Zaunites to bring about his goal. Most Zaunites would move to Piltover, or to anywhere else if they could. My theory about Jinx's arc is that she is not engaged in piltover-zaun war but in another war thats going on under the radar. I think she will be fighting Singed.
    If you look at the characters that we arent really told about in the trailer, we have Jinx, Singed, Jayce, and Viktor. I would bet that there's a whole subplot that theyve been hiding from us. One that continues Singed's whole "the mutation must survive".
    As you pointed out, Jinx wouldnt be in the fight for idealogical reasons, so I think shes going to be fighting singed to try to get Vander back, to undo Powders mistake from episode 3. And if Viktor is healing people from the effects of shimmer, then it makes sense she would ally with him to undo the transformation of Warwick.
    Then Jayce would obviously be against Viktor because now he hates all hextech (except when his friends use it, i predict therell be layers of hypocrisy there). And that would also inadvertently put both sides of both wars kind of in line. Making a piltover side and a zaun side in both.

    During Caitlyn’s narration of “locate Jinx” and it shows Vi in a Jinx Trap, “stop the distribution of shimmer” and her enforcers are caught being attacked by a large chem-brute, and this scene “take down any agents loyal to Silco.” With the chem barons looking like they are in awe or worship of the statue. For me this means that Cait is working off of false intel and assumptions. She's just reacting to situations and not thinking things through. In the first season you see her as someone that thinks things through. The final scene of the Chem Barons at the statue implies that the there is someone else in charge of Zaun and its citizens. Does it mean Jinx, maybe, but my take away is that Silco’s ideals of a free, independent Zaun no longer hold sway for the Chem Barons and there is someone else or a new ideal in charge of Zaun.

      Probably why the clip shows the contradictions in Cai'ts statement and indicating her not thinking clearly. Seems like she has a goal but no clear plan to achieve it. Looking for Jinx, leads her team into Jinx traps, eliminate the production of Shimmer, thinking it easy and not aware of the trouble she's going to encounter, and remove those loyal to Silco not aware that the Chem Barons and maybe the citizens of Zaun are no longer loyal to Silco and his ideals.

      @matthewhungerford1861 Před 12 dny

      take down agents of silco is Caitlyn giving her self a Vague mandate so she can target anyone she wants and that she can say mission accomplished at any moment. I agree Cailtyn probably dose not know the chembarons are not loyal to Silco cause but her wanting to take out shimmer and kill them would unite them against her. the thing is Zaun has every factor of war in their favor at the moment the chem barons would be silly not to take advantage of it. I actually think Jinx's drawings on the columns in that scene weren't meant for her, but for Vi. With everything that's happening in s2, she seems to be getting more and more mature, so a random regression just for this scene doesn't quite make sense, unless the drawings weren't to help her, but to emotionally manipulate Vi (manipulate might be the wrong word, but a sort of "this is my world" statement like we saw in the poster, or smth). I think the trailer does show evidence that what Jinx is trying to do is to pull Vi out of her past, though.
      The last line in the trailer is "Finally got the NAME right, sister."
      Why would Jinx care if Vi gets her name right if she knows Vi would never accept her back, after S1?
      In my point of view, she shouldn't care anymore. Jinx would just say she "fell down a well" again and then leave it at that or be annoyed but expectant of it. She KNOWS Vi will call her Powder regardless, at this point.
      So now, after having attempted to convince her into accepting her and failing, Jinx wouldn't be trying the same thing again. Instead, I think the point is to make Vi see that it's all in her head. That it is dead, now, gone and the one who needs to move on already is HER.

    Here’s a theory: When Caitlyn shoots her hexrifle, you can see that her lip is bleeding a bit. Also, by looking at the background in that shot, you can see that it’s from the same scene where Jinx and Vi fight that was shown in the trailer. In a different shot of Caitlyn in the trailer, you can see that she has a healing lip injury in the same spot that it was bleeding. This shows that Caitlyn is still hunting Jinx after the Jinx vs Vi fight, so although the season might end with a fight between them, the Jinx vs Vi fight shown in the trailer is likely the finale for Act 1 or Act 2.

    I agree the Jinx/Vi confrontation here is unlikely to be climactic--and part of me hopes you're right about it becoming them vs. the last, Jungian-shadow-iteration of "father" they share. It would be at once heartbreaking and needful, which is the stock in trade for Arcane writing.
    Another part of me hopes they surprise us all, though. :D

  • @anothermereapostleofjimpickens

    7:02 I think in this sense Jinx is going to become a katniss Everdeen type character. The unwilling, not meaning to symbol of rebellion. She’s either going to lean into it or more likely hate it. And she’s going to implode, showing everyone what she did was an accident. Maybe she wanted to start a war but she didn’t want to be the face of a rebellion. Once the zaunites realize she isn’t the symbol they want her to be then she will be left alone

  • @starace4031
    @starace4031 Před 12 dny +35

    I definitely feel like the Vi and Jinx trailer scenes happen at max in the 1st arc (3 episodes) of season 2. I could see it happening in the first episode specifically, explaining why she seems to have a similar vibe to season 1 finale Jinx.
    The rest of the season may focus on the fight for power/control/conquer within and between Piltover and Zaun.
    Caitlyn may be super focused on finding Jinx and getting justice for her mother's death, meanwhile Vi kind of betrays Caitlyn by trying to find Jinx alone or distract Caitlyn away from it which I think Caitlyn sees through, gets angry at Vi and hence Vi is alone. She isn't with Jinx, she isn't with Caitlyn, she's alone and lost with no-one to be with protect.
    Jinx may be the one to confront Warwick and may need Vi or a piltover hextech weapon to destroy him. But it may come down to Warwick being the potential saviour of the season and defeating whoever is the 'biggest bad' like Viktor or Singe etc.

    Counter point to the idea that Jinx hasn't moved on. Jinx spent majority of her time in season 1 trying to help the people she cared about, though often times in her own twisted way. The drawings could be indicative of her not moving on, OR they could be her embracing herself and the fact that (at least in her mind) Vi is not only never going to accept her, but also that she is a "jinx" and as a "jinx" it's her path to be chaotic, to be destructive, to be antagonistic, ESPECIALLY antagonistic towards Vi, turning her statement at the end of season one episode three "She is NOT my SISTER anymore..." into a fully realized prophecy. The drawings are no longer there because Jinx can't and hasn't escaped from that past. The drawings are now there because Vi WANTS (or wanted) to live in that past, and Jinx has taken it upon herself to turn that idealized past into Vi's nightmare.

    • @lorinckudasz3103
      @lorinckudasz3103 Před 11 dny

      @@mortenlu As I said Arcane is a preliminary story for League. It would make a difference bc the champion you are playing is dead.
      I see that it wouldn't be interesting if we had limitless plot armor for every champion (like in every other media where the main characters doesn't die), but they can create other non-league characters (Silco ect.) and than kill them, what they did in S1 Arcane.
      They can also kill LoL champs after we reach the "League present day", like how they did with Yasuo in the "Still here" cinematic, although I don't have high hopes for that either, since they backed off from making it official as well.

      Also, Viktor returning the grenade that Marcus gave him in season 1 to Jinx, and Jinx giving him (but not Jayce) Jayce's research notebook back would be a very touching scene.

    Well, on jinx goal this season, I rly liked it idea of every character going opposite of what they do in first season, so I think like jinx was haunted by her past in s1 now she will haunt the past in s3, drawing those drawing and showing cancer adopting them(that I’m pretty sure wasn’t a trigger for her in the 1st season) in a place she will work/fight in I think shows the past that she is in control, she moved on by dissproving the past. Edit: I think the poster having vi in a scared/protected position and jinx looking threatening at us kinda ties in well with this, jinx is haunting the past like it haunted her.

    Vi wearing Claggor's goggles... ouch (but the BRILLIANCE!). She must get them from Jinx's season 1 lair, which is the last place we saw them. Perhaps Cait raids it, looking for Jinx? Anyway, Jinx's new lair is fascinating. Some kind of ruined temple? The faint painting of a woman on the rear wall, seemingly original to the space, some kind of mythological figure??? Related to the massive statue/monument/etc of a woman's face that we see some Zaunite's standing in front of? And of course Jinx's drawings! Still surrounding herself with memories, continuing to torment herself. Besides that, super stoked to see how Jinx & Sevika plays out (Sevika holding Jinx's pistol! Sevika with a Jinx designed arm!). Side note, where tf is Ekko (one, plain shot... need more, thank you)? And Warwick... man, it already hurts. I like the idea that Warwick's purpose will be to bring the sisters back together, but I also see how he might be meant more for Vi. In the way that Jinx is tortured by hallucinations & ghosts, Vi is tortured by something real--Vander's return as Warwick. Too many thoughts. Could keep going. Will stop.

    The scene where Vi is fighting Jinx is, 100%, taking place in a Temple of Janna, not in any kind of Piltover vault. Decorative stonework, columns, you can even see the statue of Janna in the background haze. This is an old temple of Janna probably deep in Zaun, maybe even in the ruins of Oshra Va'Zaun, the original settlement from before the sundering of the two cities and building of the Sungate.
