Soup is one of my favorite things to eat. I love that this recipe uses dark meat, chicken thighs are my favorite.

I love the recipe and your entire channel as a whole Charlie! You never fail to impress. Thank you!
The only step I would add is to deglaze the pan you browned the chicken in with the onion and a pinch of salt before adding it to the water with seasonings. It's a great way to pick up a lot of extra flavor from the browned chicken bits that stick to the bottom of the pan

I went to bed without dinner Plenty of times growing up,
because I refused to eat my mom`s chicken soup lol.
She`d parboil chicken, and fry it up for dinner.
The next night, she took the water she parboiled chicken in,
put noodles in it, and called it soup. Greasy hot water with noodles.
Gramma would spoil us with Campbell`s chicken noodle soup lol.
This Definitely looks Much Better than mom`s, I`ll be giving this a try !

You are sooo right, homemade chicken noodle soup tastes great! I too use some form of chicken stock in my soups (and a lot of other dishes as well) because stock intensifies the flavor versus just using water which I discovered creates a bland or non-seasoned taste to the dish. Thanks Charlie!
