Ahhh, the 2005 Local Forecast tune reminds me of the days of watching the red bar/screen in the summer when severe pop-up thunderstorms would bubble up after long humid heat waves
that song always reminds me grade 11 and 12.. my high school gym had a TV by the entrance, and it was always on the weather channel, this song would play every 10 minutes.
Some of these are also shared with the French sister cable channel MétéoMédia, depending on the cable provider and city the music may have been just slightly different but still the same tune.
I still have my "Wx Music Collection," as I call it, but I haven't added to it in about 10 years. Many of the tunes I have are on the latter half of this album. This is great!
I'm hopeful that at some point someone will find the 2006-2010 Local Forecast theme that has the acoustic opening at the beginning without voiceover and sponsor, i.e. The Weather Network using it from February-October 2009 and/or MétéoMédia in 2006 when they started using it.
Just wondering, were most of the earlier songs from more recent years? I’m not familiar with most of them that’s why. Also Flying V1 sounds like something out of Ocarina of Time. (Without the sax and guitar solos)

I'm curious where some of these songs came from, as I found quite a few from the 90s and I'm looking for more from that decade, especially from 1991 to 1994. For example: there's a piano piece which is kind of jazzy and it has a chorus which plays chords and I I guess could be a verse, which is more melodic and less reliant on chords. If your a musician, it's in the key of D natural and the melodic verse (if you will) is in the key of G, going to A then back to D. Anybody have a line on that? Thanks.

@@CBHOBC2 Well for MM's Pollen Forecast in 2011/2012 they used De Wolfe Music, and I know in 2009/2010's Pollen Forecast TWN/MM used a De Wolfe Music track. Still I think the classic Pollen Forecast is a favorite of mine and for many fans out there.
