- Hello and Welcome! For this Flight Report I was headed for Saudi Arabia for Umrah. It was also the first ever Airbus A321 I've flown and I'm pretty glad it was with Gulf Air because their Airbus A321's have a great interior in my opinion! Although this flight wasn't as amazing as I was hoping for but I'm glad I got to Saudi Arabia anyway.

Great video, I too have dealt with crew like the ones you experienced. Perhaps the reason you were told to retrieve the tissues from the lavatory is so that she was trying to assist you to help yourself to any amount you wanted and maybe didn't know how to be polite about it. but thats just the observation I could make by watching your video. Hope to see more!

Went for Umrah last year but took Turkish Airlines A330-300, flew the same one three times during that trip! Reg TC-JNT

As always good video footage of your flying experience. I'm a frequent flyer as well and I've experience most of the middle-eastern airlines Emirates, Qatar, Oman and Eithad except Gulf Air. Your flight looked comfy and relaxing, untill you've mentioned about that rude crew member which i strong beleive you should have reported to the appropriate authority regardless of which ever nationality she belongs. The reason why it is important is to prevent it happening again to other passengers and to let her know she cannot continue with that sort of attitude towards passengers. I've always noticed the service from Heathrow to any Middle east destination is high standard untill you board a connecting flight to the third world countries which is below average.
I'll be flying next month with British airways and will try to get some coverage.
Overall I've enjoyed your video and keep sharing.

londonmoyne Thank you! I agree the service from The UK To the Middle East is always up to high standard but when it comes to service to third world countries it is sadly below standard :/ I will complain to Gulf Air regarding this issue. Hope you enjoy your British Airways experience :)
Excellent report!! Nice to hear that this was your first A321 flight. I also never flew A321 tho. The IFE look decent but the touch doesn't look good. Were you in Ihram during this flight? Hope you had a good Umrah :) Anyway Thanks for the video :) Enjoyed watching :D

PIA Has mixed opinions, some people leave happy and some leave pissed. I tend to enjoy my flights with them tbh

Sometimes the IFE Doesn't work. But if it does the content is okay. I would recommend you take an ipad or any other entertainment source with you
Thank you for sharing your flight with us. It is so sad that an GF that has an absolutely gorgeous livery could not raise the level of their in flight service. Once an airline of luxury with their L1011 Tristars in the late 70's early 80's. The cabin of this A321 seems nice but sadly the attitude of the FA was horrid, there is no excuse for being that rude and argumentative. Inshallah you had a blessed Umra.

I have made in the past several trips on GF never found their crew to be rude but many times the inflight system didn t work..and they used in the last stages of use the B767..now that was a motley aircraft indeed..

Nice video I agree with you this flight didn't seem good compare to LHR flight. This is what happened with me when my flight was from DXB-PEW, the aircraft was A332, but turned out to be 772 ;) and somehow I got upgraded to Business Class as well. Which software do you use for your youtube channel?

Had a similar experience on Gulf Air business class flight to Columbo. Rude flight crew, something I didn't expect; especially as a full fare business class passenger. That was my first and last trip with Gulf Air. I've decided while traveling to and from the Middle East; Emirates and Etihad were the best in my experience. Nice crew, food has always be amazing, regardless of cabin. New aircraft with nice interior and in flight entertainment. I've yet to try Qatar Airways. Heard great things and plan on trying them in a next month DFW-DOH-JNB.

+Rizajam Jamriza Gulf Air of Bahrain was even bigger and more famous than Qatar in the past during the 80's I think I'm not sure, they went really down for some reason but in recent years they're becoming so much better!

are they now using the new /interioried planes for all flights. im going UAE from london to bahrain then from bahrain to uae. will the one from london likely to be a new airbus?
It's most likely to be a A320/A321 on the Bahrain to Dubai sector and they're both very modern aircrafts and I reckon they're all the same in terms of interior and entertainment, it's a short sector anyway so I don't think there would be much time for entertainment lol :)

the cabin crew who was rude was tight and should get fired by the gulf air manager the people who were struggling to find their seats paid for the flight and should get good respect and treatment

I went on Umrah last year, and took the 777 from San Francisco to Dubai and took the A380 to jeddah. The immigration is a pain and took us 3 hours. Did this issue happen to you as well?
Ayan Longi Immigration was a pain! It didn't take 3 hours for me though, probably 1 hour. The immigration guy took over 10 minutes checking out passports because half of the time he was on his phone checking his instagram! and yes I checked :P

Im also shocked. Flight attendant should never tell to the passengers go get yourself. Whats the purpose of being a flight attendant. You came here to serve not to show your attitude. So rude flight attendant. Tsk !!! If I wer a girl then for sure i will slap her in front of the passengers. Im very disappointed with Gulf Air.

Well when you fly Emirates you see the difference..Gulf air has started offering lower fares..I have flown with them many times in Business class for very good fares...and I prefer widebodies..
