If I were you, don’t take your kids to a Disney park. The “magic” is too fake at this point. Instead, renaissance festivals have a more authentic fairy tale magic vibe than Disney parks. I went to one during my high school years, and I loved it!
Tbh I don't care about "preserving the magic" I don't think the magic is going to be preserved when Minnie's face is soaked in blood looking like she's out of a horror movie and suddenly Goofy isn't moving or responding anymore. Kids will be freaking out because their favorite characters died in front of them.
