Robert Fuller just wanted you to be aware that another person is stealing your videos and posting them on their page as their own. The persons CZcams channel name is Landscape. They’ve zoomed the videos in, so people can’t see that they are your videos. I can’t remember the mother/daughter pair of barn owls, but the older daughter wanted moms attention, maybe Gylfie, and that daughter goes in to her new babies next and steals one of her babies. Just wanted you to be aware. Many on that video have commented and see that it’s your video. You have a lot of loyal followers

Wound the window down and tried to focus my SLR however could not get a clear image through the viewfinder. My wife then said quite calmly, "Look out". The bird was walking up to the car just a few feet away. I then wound up the window and we watched in awe as it pecked at the external mirror and then attacked the large silver hub cap on my VW Beetle with its large toe. It then walked calmly away. People worry about possible injury but frankly, there are plenty of humans and not many cassowaries. Lots of cassowaries die and get injured by humans compared to humans by cassowary.

They can be dangerous, the female charged us at one point But I think we surprised her and she was just letting us know who was boss of the forest
But most of the time if you give them enough space they ignore humans
The main thing is people should never feed them as they can then become dangerous there is a saying a fed cassowary is a dead cassowary

Hi 👋 yes they can be dangerous but how dangerous they are like most wildlife is totally over hyped
People have been killed by them but it’s often the humans fault the last fatal attack was a captive bird in Florida I think in 2019, most important thing is to give them space and never feed them

These are very elusive creatures I was hoping to see one last time I went up to cairns, I traversed through miles of rainforest and never saw a single one :( pretty sure I heard their calls though.

They are not easy to see but I was very lucky to see 13 in 4 days but we were out in the forest from dawn to dusk each day and travelled miles to find them, but it was so worth it
